Yu Zhiyi turned 14 during the winter of the first semester of her third year in junior high school. Her Grandma decided to prepare a ton of delicious food for her on her birthday, and Shi Yi invited Yu Zhiyi to his house to cut the cake. But this year, her parents didn’t send her any presents.

Her cheeks were covered with tears, and seeing the appearance of the little girl, Shi Yi quickly reached out and took her into his arms. “Don’t cry; your brother won’t be able to handle it,” he said as he bent his head slightly, positioned his chin next to her pink and soft ear, placed his warm palm on her neck, and gently patted her back.
