It was Yu Zhiyi’s 15th birthday, and Shi Yi said to her in the school, “Yiyi, come home with me after school.”
As it was her birthday, she agreed happily.
As usual, Qiao Lezhi gave her a small gift. Jiang Mier and the other roommate, Wen Yang, asked her to go buy something to celebrate her birthday.
“Sorry, I’m going home today.”
The roommates expressed their understanding and decided to move the celebration to tomorrow.
At noon, dark clouds gathered in the sky, and after the second class in the afternoon, it began to rain.
By the time school was over, it was still raining.
Some students in the class were upset that they didn’t bring an umbrella.
Luckily, Yu Zhiyi had a habit of carrying a small, colourful umbrella.
Li Shaozhou dangled in the classroom for a while but was unable to go home because he didn’t have an umbrella. One of his friends who lived in the school dormitory told him to wait for a while because he would send an extra umbrella for him.
Li Shaozhou then went to the toilet, and when he came out, he saw a boy holding a colourful umbrella from a few feet away.
That boy gave him a familiar feeling, so he stepped towards the boy and saw that it was Shi Yi.
When Li Shaozhou saw that the umbrella Shi Yi was holding was a colourful girlish type, he couldn’t help but laugh. “Brother Yi, I didn’t see it before; you are so girlish, haha.”
But when he saw Yu Zhiyi run out and get under the colourful umbrella, Li Shaozhou’s smile froze on his face, feeling that the cold rain outside was directly patting his face.

“Don’t worry. You’ll have all the things you had in previous years.”
Yu Zhiyi couldn’t understand the meaning of Shi Yi’s words until they went home.
When she entered the house, she was surprised by an unexpected person.
“Grandma!” Yu Zhiyi ran happily towards her grandmother, who was sitting in the living room talking with Ning Suya.
When she learned about the real reason for her grandmother’s departure, Yu Zhiyi felt very sad because she couldn’t take care of her sick grandmother.
The important thing was that this birthday represented a new turning point in her life. She was thinking that God let her meet Shi Yi and his family to make up for her missing parents.
Yu Zhiyi received several small gifts today.
