Back at school, a certain guilty boy kept courting her.

“Yu Zhiyi, this bottle of water is for you.” Li Shaozhou deliberately passed by her seat and placed a bottle of water on her table.

“Yo yo yo~”

Seeing this, students around them started booing around. “Oh, Li Shaozhou, you’ve been treating Yu Zhiyi a little differently recently~”

“Go, go, what are you talking about? Don’t you know I’m asking for forgiveness? Don’t make noises; I will be beaten by the squad leader again!” Li Shaozhou shouted at the top of his lungs to suppress the strangled voices.

Ever since he accidentally lost Yu Zhiyi’s notebook last time, Yu Zhiyi’s attitude towards him has been lukewarm.

He didn’t intend for it to be a big deal, but he didn’t realise how much it meant to Yu Zhiyi. Now he felt really sorry and did everything he could to make her happy.

Then Yu Zhiyi would always give back the things he borrowed, saying, “What happened before is done; you don’t have to give me anything.”

The little girl spoke quietly and gently, but she wasn’t as gentle as she used to be.

Yu Zhiyi probably still felt upset about what happened.

Nobody else knew what was in that book.

When Qiao Lezhi and Jiang Mier asked about that, Yu Zhiyi said she had written down a lot of notes in her notebook, so it would be a waste if it was lost.

Wen Tingyu, who listened to her friend’s explanation, was the only one who didn’t say anything. She asked her quietly, when no one else was there, “Did you write about Shi Yi in the notebook?”

Yu Zhiyi bit her lip without realising it, and her face turned a little pale.

It seemed like she didn’t care, but she was actually just afraid to show it to everyone.

She didn’t know who had taken the notebook, and no one had found it recently. She would prefer if the person who found the notebook threw it in the trash instead of finding out her secret.

‘If you find it, don’t let anyone else know.’

Wen Tingyu told her, “It’s normal to have feelings for someone of the opposite sex at your age. He is really nice to you. I think everyone will be attracted to Shi Yi because he is so charming. A lot of girls at school like him, and you do too. If you like him, it’s okay if someone finds out—it’s not a big deal.”

One week later, the book unexpectedly showed up on her desk.

Yu Zhiyi was surprised to see it on her desk.

She looked around, feeling worried, and saw that other students were busy doing their own things. Nothing interesting or unique happened.

Yu Zhiyi was surprised, and then she sat down. She opened the book and checked it carefully to find out that the pages written about Shi Yi were still there.

The book was returned undamaged, but she didn’t understand what happened.

Seeing that Shi Yi hadn’t arrived in the classroom yet, she boldly asked the classmate next to her, “Um, I want to ask, has anyone been to my seat?”

“It seems to be Luo Qi.”

‘Luo Qi?’

Yu Zhiyi stood up and walked to the front row. She found Luo Qi sitting by the door. “Luo Qi, have you seen this book?”

Luo Qi raised his head and glanced “Well, just now a boy came and asked whether Yu Zhiyi was in this class. When I said yes, he handed this notebook to me and said that he had picked up this notebook and asked me to return it to you.”

Yu Zhiyi felt better when she heard that. ‘It looks like Luo Qi doesn’t know what’s in the book.’ “Do you know who sent the notebook?”

Luo Qi said, “I don’t know him, but I think he’s in the same grade as us.”

‘Now that I have the notebook and no one has talked about what’s in it, everything should be okay.’ Yu Zhiyi held the notebook tightly and felt much better. “Thanks.”

When school was over at noon, she took the notebook back to her dormitory and put it together with her diary. She never dared to take these to the classroom again.

‘Also, try your best not to leave that person’s name in the book.’

Although sometimes she would unconsciously write the word “Shi Yi” when she was resting and dazed, she would erase it when she was awake.
