“We’re very lucky because we’re in the same class.” Jiang Mier has a roommate on the left and a roommate on the right, so she was very pleased.

Jiang Mier happily told Lu He, “Your friend is very good-looking.”

This was like giving compliments in front of Liao Zhewen.

Afterward, there were only two girls remaining.

“I’m Wen Tingyu.”

“My name is Yu Zhiyi.”

When she said her name, Liao Zhewen looked at her deeply.

Yu Zhiyi didn’t want to make new friends, and neither did Wen Tingyu. They didn’t like talking to people they didn’t know well, so they turned around in a tacit understanding.

Wen Tingyu took out her English dictionary, and Yu Zhiyi got out her math homework.

Jiang Mier looked at them with a pout. “No, you’re studying before class even begins.”

Yu Zhiyi and Wen Tingyu did not agree with Jiang Mier.

Wen Tingyu looked at the cover of Yu Zhiyi’s exercise book and asked, “Did you buy this yourself?”

“During the summer vacation, my brother helped me choose it and said that this set of questions was suitable for me.”

“It feels pretty good. I’ll buy a copy later.”

Jiang Mier and Lu He talked about many things, like names and sports. Liao Zhewen sometimes spoke a little and then asked, “Did you have a classmate named Shi Yi before?”

“Yes, our previous class leader, what’s the matter?”

“It’s fine; I’m just a little interested.”

“Hahaha, you are curious about our monitor. If you have any questions, you can ask her. She can help you answer them,” she said, pointing at Yu Zhiyi.

Yu Zhiyi loved to read, and she thought she could ignore distractions, but the name they talked about was Shi Yi. She looked confused and saw Liao Zhewen shrug his shoulders and not say anything else.
