Shi Yi held onto the handrail with one hand and put his other hand on Yu Zhiyi’s back because he was afraid she might not be able to stand up straight.

Suddenly, the bus shook, and someone leaned over Yu Zhiyi, and she lost her balance.

Shi Yi, who stood behind her, quickly wrapped his arms around her, protecting her completely.

Yu Zhiyi looked at Shi Yi and asked, “Can I hug you, brother?”

“What?” The boy hadn’t responded yet when suddenly he felt the girl’s hands around his waist, and her sweet smell filled his arms, making him feel surprised and affectionate.

But no matter what, he has to keep her safe.

The bus announced the station, and Shi Yi quietly told her that they should get off.

The girl nodded and let go of his waist when the bus stopped, even though she didn’t want to.

 After getting off the bus, both of them walked silently, and Yu Zhiyi felt that she needed to comfort her brother just like he always did.

“You used to tell me that if I am happy or unhappy, I have to tell you. At that time, I accepted your favour naturally. Now that you have encountered something unhappy, I want to coax you too. But Yiyi is too stupid, and apart from saying some words, I don’t know what else to do. How can I make my brother feel happy?”

Shi Yi was a little surprised when he heard those words.

Yu Zhiyi was always gentle and well-behaved. She usually accepted things without complaining and did her best at what she could do. She rarely asked for anything extra.
