Everyone stared at Yu Zhiyi, making her uncomfortable.

Under those students’ gazes, the poor girl gripped the string of the gift bag anxiously.

She came here without thinking much after Jiang Mier’s call, but when she saw the people she didn’t know, she regretted her decision. ”I…I came to the wrong room.” She started to back off.

However, Shi Yi did not let her get away. In the blink of an eye, Shi Yi was in front of Yu Zhiyi. “Why are you running? he asked with a soft smile.

Yu Zhiyi: ‘I feel bad; why don’t I escape?’

The music was still going, but no one was singing because everyone except Shi Yi was curious about the unexpected visitor. 

He Weiran got up and asked Shi Yi, “Who is this person?”

“My little friend.” Shi Yi naturally put his arm around the girl’s shoulders in an intimate manner.

“Come on, let me introduce you. This is He Weiran.” Shi Yi read out the names of the people he knew, which was considered an introduction to them.

Yu Zhiyi remembered their names and calmly greeted them. “Hi, I’m Yu Zhiyi.”

Others were not sure of the connection between Shi Yi and “his little friend,” but to ease the awkward situation, Shi Yi’s roommates greeted Yu Zhiyi in a friendly manner.

“Shi Yi’s friends are our friends too. Let’s continue playing.”

Ke Xue felt like she had made a mistake in her thinking just now. Jiang Mier was not a threat, but Yu Zhiyi was.

Ke Xue nudged He Weiran and reminded him to pull the strings.

He Weiran handed the extra microphone to Shi Yi and said, “We haven’t sung the song yet. Let’s sing together.” 

“You guys sing,” Shi Yi said while shaking his hand.

Yu Zhiyi’s sixth sense told her that Ke Xue had feelings for Shi Yi. ‘Hmph. If I hadn’t come, someone would have sung a love song with Shi Yi.’ The girl frowned a little, feeling upset in her heart, and asked, “Did I interrupt your singing, brother?”

“Why did you ask like that?”

“You didn’t tell me that you were going to have your birthday party early. I thought…” Yu Zhiyi replied sadly.

“It’s a last-minute invitation. We are going to live four years in the same dormitory, so it’s hard to offend your roommate’s good intentions.” Shi Yi explained patiently.

She asked softly, “What will happen tomorrow?”

“Tomorrow? Yiyi, don’t you want to accompany me?” he whispered.

It was like a whisper of love in her ears, making Yu Zhiyi blush from her face to her neck. She tightly held the gift bag and thought to give it tomorrow and confess her feelings. 

“Did you eat dinner?” Shi Yi asked.

Yu Zhiyi said, “No, not yet.”

“There is cake. First, eat some cake to make your stomach full.”

They bought a really big cake, but the boys and girls didn’t eat much of it. In the end, over half of it was still there. 

Shi Yi used a plastic knife to cut a slice of the cake. Pieces of coconut were placed between two layers, and it was fresh and not greasy.

After giving the cake to Yu Zhiyi, he went to get a cup of milk tea and placed it on the table in front of her.

Seeing a completely different Shi Yi from the Shi Yi they were familiar with, the roommates’ jaws dropped.

‘What friendship? Yu Zhiyi didn’t take Ke Xue’s words to heart and just gave the gift bag to Shi Yi and said, “This is for you.”

Right now, everyone was interested in the watch, and they didn’t see there was a heart-shaped card inside the bag except Shi Yi. 

‘Is this red heart card a present?’ Shi Yi just glanced at the watch but took the card out.

The young man looked at the girl with a pair of charming peach blossom eyes and asked, “Why did you buy me such an expensive gift on a whim.”

The young girl’s cheeks turned red, and she paused before saying, “It’s… deliberate!”
