The takeout was delivered to the door quickly.

When Yu Zhiyi opened the package, the aroma of pizza hit her nostrils, and her stomach growled twice in response.

“Haha…it looks like she is really hungry,” Shi Yi teased her while laughing. 

The little girl’s face turned red instantly, then she opened the pizza box wide open, threw the disposable gloves at him, and shouted fiercely, “Eat!”

Seeing that, Shi Yi thought Yu Zhiyi looked too cute.

‘Wow! The strawberry boba milk tea looks delicious.’

Shi Yi sipped his milk tea and saw a little girl staring at it with a longing look. “Want to try it?” he asked, raising the cup.

“Ah…this?” Yu Zhiyi hesitated. ‘Doesn’t it look like an indirect kiss?’

Thinking like that, the girl felt excited, but she didn’t express it.

Shi Yi smiled and pushed the milk tea towards her while saying, “It’s very sweet. Have a sip.”

Yu Zhiyi took the milk tea cup, bent her head, and sipped it slowly.

A sweet taste filled her mouth and found its way directly into her heart. 

‘Indeed, very sweet.’ She took a few breaths and then exhaled.

The boy next to her grabbed the milk tea cup and sipped it again without showing any disgust.

Yu Zhiyi didn’t know how the time passed so quickly, and when she checked the time, it was already 11.50 p.m.

‘Oh god, Shi Yi’s birthday is in ten minutes.’

Yu Zhiyi wanted to be the first one to wish Shi Yi a happy birthday. Therefore, she kept her eyes on her phone screen, fearing she would miss the exact time. 

They both stood next to the window, looking outside. 

The clock on the wall chimed at midnight, making Yu Zhiyi’s heart jump with joy.

“Brother, happy birthday!” She turned around and wished Shi Yi with a bright smile on her face.

Yu Zhiyi’s eyes met with another pair of beautiful eyes, and she couldn’t take her eyes off them.

When Shi Yi pulled out a heart-shaped card from his shirt pocket, Yu Zhiyi felt uncomfortable at first.

“Can you tell me what this birthday present means?” Shi Yi asked with a knowing look.

“You…can’t you see yourself?” The little girl turned around and tried to run, but a suddenly outstretched arm blocked her and trapped her by the window.

He showed the card and said with an innocent look, “Yiyi, your brother is not smart enough to understand.”

“Then… I also don’t know.”

“That’s not good. You are the one who gave me the gift. You should know the meaning.” Shi Yi didn’t want to stop teasing. 

‘He is definitely teasing me on purpose.’ Yu Zhiyi did not want to give up, so she turned her neck the other way to stop Shi Yi from getting what he wanted.

Shi Yi released his grip, but Yu Zhiyi didn’t escape.

A hand reached out from her side and pulled her, and the boy whispered in her ear. “Do you know why I ordered that milk tea?” His warm breath brushed against her ear.

Feeling the tickling sensation in her ear, Yu Zhiyi moved her head a little. She was too scared to even look at Shi Yi. “N-no.”

The girl’s delicate appearance was so enchanting that he had countless things in his heart that he wanted to tell her. “Because the day I drank during the summer vacation, I was very sober.” He added more, saying, “Yiyi’s lips are like strawberries; sweet and soft, which made your brother very happy.”

As soon as the words were spoken, the person kissed Yu Zhiyi’s soft lips, making her feel tingly and shocked.

‘Then that day he was sober when he kissed me.’ 

It was not just something she wished for. ‘The boy I like also likes me.’

She had been hiding her love for a long time, and now her wishes had finally been fulfilled. She felt so happy like her whole heart was full of sweetness.

The girl’s thin arms moved up Shi Yi’s neck as he kissed her.

Shi Yi was encouraged by Yu Zhiyi’s movements; he gently touched her cheek and held her shoulders first. And then he put his hands around the girl’s waist, pushed her head against the window, and deepened the kiss.

After the kissing was over, Yu Zhiyi expressed her feelings happily.

“Shi Yi, I have feelings for you. I hope you can like me too.”

“Okay.”

The 18th birthday represented the entry into another stage of life.

Shi Yi would do so many important things in his life after his 18th birthday, and the person he liked would always be with him.
