Yu Kai was taken into custody for stealing after the Ruan family filed a report.

When the police interrogated him, they found out Yu Kai had a criminal history.

Ruan Qing was shocked to learn that her former spouse had devolved into such a reprehensible person, and he even sent her mother to the hospital. So when Ruan Qing saw Yu Kai, she couldn’t control herself. 

Yu Kai received a jail sentence. 

After much deliberation, Yu Zhiyi eventually declined to meet her father.

Yu Zhiyi stood by the window by herself, staring off into the distance with a confused expression in her eyes.

Someone pushed the door open softly and went inside. Without even looking back, Yu Zhiyi recognised the person.

“Brother, do you think I’m cold-blooded?” she asked. ‘Although that man is my biological father, I will never be able to forgive him for the pain I felt at the time, even after all these years.’

“No, you have the right to choose,” Shi Yi comforted her. 

Yu Zhiyi recalled how her father admitted his mistake after her accident; although it was just a verbal apology, she didn’t take it to heart. But this time, Yu Kai harmed her grandmother, so Yu Zhiyi couldn’t forgive him. 

“Since he has committed a crime, he should be punished accordingly.”

Shi Yi joined Jiang Chizhou’s business plan as a junior and assembled a team of talented and motivated individuals to collaborate on the creation of online games.

Although the country supported and encouraged college students to launch their own enterprises, the real challenge was unfathomably difficult.

During his junior year, Shi Yi started to apply for an early graduation. He had already earned every credit and received great scores across the board. He was even given advance employment offers from several companies. Even his mentor privately told him that the best option for steady growth and more room for promotion would be to go with a big corporation.

In their group, Jiang Mier mentioned that she heard some of Yu Zhiyi’s classmates discussing whether Shi Yi and Yu Zhiyi had broken up or not.

After seeing that, Shi Yi suddenly came back to the university and waited for Yu Zhiyi to prove his identity as her boyfriend in front of Yu Zhiyi’s classmates!

The important thing to note was that Yu Zhiyi was still unaware of why Shi Yi did that. She didn’t think he was suddenly acting like this because of Jiang Mier’s message. 

However, she was aware of Shi Yi’s hectic schedule, so she said, “Brother, you don’t have to wait for me to finish class. You have been very busy lately.”

He felt bad because of his girlfriend’s consideration.”I haven’t spent much time with you lately. I’m a horrible person,” he muttered.

Yu Zhiyi understood the reason and felt very sad. “Not really. Don’t listen to what they say. I really don’t blame you.”

She put her cheek against Shi Yi’s palm while holding his hand. There was reliance and trust in the girl’s eyes. “Because I know how good Shi Yi is, I believe in all his choices.”

In his junior year, Shi Yi spent his summer vacation working on his business idea. They rented a house in City C because they didn’t have time to travel back and forth, and Yu Zhiyi also lived there with him.
