Absolutely Spoiled - Chapter 48.1
Chapter 48.1
Although students in the Chinese Department of C University
generally started their internship in the second semester of their senior year.
Finally, Shi Yi’s application for early graduation was approved, and he would have more time and energy to work hard for his career.
Yu Zhiyi and a few of her former roommates had begun arranging their internships during the first semester of their senior year.
Zhong Jingxuan intended to visit her hometown. “My parents asked me to consider coming back to my hometown and said they would find a connection for me there so I can go directly to do an internship.”
Another roommate stated, “I have to find it myself,” and shook her head. “I have no idea where to look for it. Yi Yi, why don’t you speak?”
“Ah, I have already decided on a place for my internship.”
Shi Yi and Jiang Chizhou founded an online gaming company, which required clerical staff for normal operations, so she was not worried about internships.
She had made up her mind to sit for the postgraduate entrance exam. In any case, she wrote for a living every day, so it would be beneficial to strengthen her educational background.
Regarding employment, after graduation, she might pursue a career as a professional writer, although she did not intend to pursue this sector as a way of making money.
But she never told her roommate these words again.
“I really envy you for finding such a good boyfriend,” said Zhong Jingxuan. “It’s important that he treats you nicely as well. When will it be my turn to have a sweet love?”
Yu Zhiyi grinned and switched on her computer to begin her daily writing schedule.
She had already started her third book, and it was a success so far.
Still, her first book was not finished, and readers were eagerly waiting for updates.

Yu Zhiyi was even more occupied than Shi Yi during the period she was studying for her postgraduate entrance exam. She read books and hung out in the library every day.
Yu Zhiyi preferred to sit in an empty seat in a library with few or no other patrons since she disliked crowds.
Just as she was going to read a book, she felt someone sit across her, but she didn’t pay attention to that.
“Hi, classmate!”
After a few seconds, Yu Zhiyi heard another person’s greeting. When Yu Zhiyi looked up, she noticed a boy seated across from her. She asked, “What’s the matter?”
Pulling out his phone, the boy continued, “Classmate, you come here to study every day. It seems you have to enjoy reading. I also enjoy reading. Why don’t we discuss it together? So let’s add each other’s contact numbers.”
After waiting for a few days, he finally got up the nerve to approach Yu Zhiyi and ask for her contact details after noticing that she was constantly sitting by herself.
‘Well…’ This was not what she expected to happen.
“No… I’m sorry.”
The rejected boy experienced some mild embarrassment, but he didn’t intend to go. He took the book next to him, opening a page and resting his arm on it.
After that, he would follow Yu Zhiyi regardless of whether she purposefully avoided him.
This happened a few more days, and Yu Zhiyi didn’t go to the library.
Shi Yi unexpectedly returned to the school one day to look for his girlfriend. Both of them chose to eat dinner in the cafeteria in a relaxed manner.
Yu Zhiyi had a few books in her hands when she arrived.
“Are you tired a lot these days? You even eat with a book in your hand.”
“No, I’m going to return this to the library later.”
“Okay, I’ll go with you later.”
“Thank you, brother.”
“Huh? Thank you?”
“Hey, I usually say it casually at school.”
At university, when facing classmates, teachers, or other people, Yu Zhiyi habitually maintained basic politeness in her words and deeds. Therefore, words like “oK,” “got it,” and “thank you” appeared very frequently in her speech.
“Okay, let’s eat.”

With millions of books, the library at C University was undoubtedly a treasure trove and an excellent study space for students.
So although Yu Zhiyi didn’t go there to study, she borrowed books from the library.
She spotted the boy again when she got back to the library. Not taking it seriously, Yu Zhiyi thought it was just a coincidence. She just took the books and walked out.
Surprisingly, though, the boy was still trying. He turned to face Yu Zhiyi in an instant and greeted her, asking, “Hey, classmate, do you remember me?”
Yu Zhiyi: ‘It’s been several days; why are you here again?’
Yu Zhiyi’s rejection encouraged the boy more.
The boy was about to carry on talking when all of a sudden a book covered his vision. After a brief period of astonished doubt, he looked up to see another boy standing next to Yu Zhiyi. “Classmate, is there something wrong?”
Shi Yi smiled at him, but the smile stopped short of his eyes and turned hostile instead.
Men were sometimes able to detect one another’s hostility without speaking. The boy waved his hand and walked away, knowing that the moment was inappropriate even if he wanted to flirt with the girl.
With a smile on his lips, Shi Yi turned around and looked at his girlfriend. “Yiyi is all amazing and charming.”
“I don’t know that person!” Yu Zhiyi continuously shook her head.
In Yu Zhiyi’s mind, except for Li Shaozhou, who was a good friend of both her and Shi Yi, all the other male friends were unfamiliar to her.
This was indeed the case.
Have a nice day!
