Most of the students who studied in class one participated in the get-together, and some even brought their family members; therefore, more than thirty people were there.

Rather than making a reservation at a restaurant, everyone contributed money and rented a temporary apartment. As for the food, a few active students took the initiative to buy ingredients and cook together.

The purpose of this preparation was to make the reunion more memorable.

The first group that arrived at the apartment had already bought many ingredients from a supermarket to make food.

After they started making food, there were more men than women in the kitchen.

More and more people arrived as time passed: some volunteered to help in the kitchen, some played games, some listened to music, and others played cards.

From Yu Zhiyi’s group of friends, Qiao Lezhi arrived first. Li Shaozhou and Jiang Mier arrived before Shi Yi and Yu Zhiyi.

With Shi Yi’s outstanding appearance, not only women but also men couldn’t ignore her.

Although Yu Zhiyi was their classmate, some of them had a vague idea of Yu Zhiyi’s appearance. But those who didn’t know asked with a smile, “Shi Yi, did you bring your girlfriend here?”

“Let’s prepare everything and let the chef cook,” the group leader declared. “This way, we can work together, and it won’t be too hard!”

Others had already cleaned, chopped, and set aside the necessary items, so Yu Zhiyi was only responsible for watching the heat and adding seasonings.

The kitchen had a very peaceful atmosphere because everyone was cooperating.
