Absolutely Spoiled - Chapter 54.1

Chapter 54.1 – Little Bun
Ning Suya was very happy because her grandson was coming to stay with them for a few months.
They had already renovated Shi Yi’s old room for the little boy; Yu Zhiyi’s bedroom became the young couple’s residence when they returned home.
When Shi Yi first suggested buying a larger house, his parents turned him down.
“We’re used to living here,” they remarked.
“I can talk with the sisters downstairs when I have nothing to do.”

On the third day after Yu Zhiyi and their son returned to Yunyang City, Shi Yi would also arrive at Yunyang City after finishing his work. So after calculating the time, Yu Zhiyi took her son to the high-speed rail station so they could pick up the person on time.
There was a zebra crossing on a certain road but no traffic lights. Vehicles passed by continuously, and the mother and son stood on the side waiting to cross the road.
At last, a few drivers thought to make room for them.
When crossing the road, Xiao Shiyu bowed to the cars that stopped to express his gratitude.
“Baby, can you tell me why you thought of doing that?”
“The teacher said we should be thankful. We should thank the driver as well, as he made room for us.” After providing a rational response, Xiao Yu questioned, “Mom, am I right?”
Yu Zhiyi stroked his head, bending slightly, and replied with a loving smile, “You excel. We’ll let Dad know. Dad will be happy too.”
Not only Shi Yi praised his son, but he even gave him a new Rubik’s Cube as encouragement.

The newly opened kindergarten was close to Shi Yi’s parents house, so they enrolled the little boy there.
On the first day, Yu Zhiyi took her son there, and Xiao Shiyu successfully integrated into the class.
Xiao Shiyu had inherited his father’s social skills, so he didn’t have any problems dealing with people.

Xiao Shiyu enjoyed listening to his grandparents tell stories at night; those were not fairy tales, but rather tales from his parents’ early years.
“When your father was your age, he loved to take care of your mother and insisted on studying in the same class as your mother.”
Xiao Shiyu paid close attention and listened calmly. He really wanted to know about his parents’ childhood.
A person’s development was inextricably linked to their family environment, and the relationship between the mother and father was very important. Because of the harmonious relationship between Shi Yi and Yu Zhiyi, our Xiao Shiyu experienced a happy and beautiful upbringing. Everything was beautiful in his world.

The kindergarteners engaged in team games, and they ran and leaped on the playground during extracurricular activities.
Shi Yu played for a while before finding a reason to go and sitting down to play with the Rubik’s Cube.
Because he was defeated by his father last time, he was determined to win next time.
However, he couldn’t concentrate on the Rubik’s Cube for a long time because he heard footsteps coming towards him.
Noticing the shadows on him, Shiyu put down the Rubik’s cube and glanced up.
There stood five children surrounding him.
“Hey, I heard that you are the smartest kid in the freshman class,” a girl with a ponytail pointed at the boy and said in a bossy tone. “How about hanging out with me in the future?”
Shi Yu had never experienced anything like this in the past. He hesitated for a moment before telling her, “No.”
With a grimace, the girl gestured to the short, skinny lad behind her, saying, “Chu Yihang, tell him how much it helps to recognise me as the boss.”
“Yes, Boss!” Straightforwardly speaking, Chu Yihang said, “Shiyu, if you play with our boss, she will give us lots of snacks and toys.”
Still shaking his head, Shiyu said, “I don’t need it.”
The young girl became angry hearing the rejection.
Before she could say another word, they heard the teacher’s voice.
“Children, assemble!”
Shi Yu closed the Rubik’s Cube and got to his feet.
Hello!” The little girl with hands on her hips sighed deeply and appeared remorseful. Then, pointing to the others, she exclaimed, “Let’s go! Return and assemble.”
However, she hurried up to Shiyu and demanded, “What do you like? When I hand it to you tomorrow, you’ll know that I’m your boss, right?”
Shiyu gave a headshake because nobody needed to give him anything.
But the “boss” showed Shiyu love the following day by giving him two differently shaped Rubik’s Cubes.
Though he couldn’t keep it, he believed it was unique.
Shiyu stood in the classroom, scanning the area to his left and right before settling his eyes on Chu Yihang.
Although Chu Yihang was not in the same class as his boss, because he received benefits from the boss, he was loyal and devoted to her.
Shiyu wanted to track the “boss” down and give the Rubik’s cubes back.
He then went to find Chu Yihang and asked, “What’s your boss’ name?”
“What’s the boss’ name? Xia Xia is the boss’ name,” Chu Yihang responded.
‘Xia Xia? It should be a nickname that friends usually call each other.’ Shi Yu asked again, “What’s her real name?”
“Real name…” Chu Yihang thought about it seriously, clapped his hands, and said, “I remember now; the boss’s name is Xia Zhi!”
“Xia Zhi?” Based on the pronunciation, Shi Yu subconsciously interpreted it as the word “zhi.”.
“I can also write the boss’s name. I’ll write it for you to see.” Chu Yihang took out his exercise book and pencil and wrote the name stroke by stroke on the book.
Chu Yihang checked it once after writing it and nodded to himself. “Yes, this is it!”
Shiyu took the book and looked at it carefully. He saw the word “fire” and the word “mouth.” ‘What?’ Soon, he thought of the word “Zhi.” ‘It seems Chu Yihang didn’t know how to write “Xia Zhi”.’
“Can you lend me your pencil?” he asked politely.
Chu Yihang gave him the pencil.
Shiyu took it and, stroke by stroke, scribbled the word “知” in the notepad. In addition, he said, “知 is written like this.”
With a head shake, Chu Yihang said, “I don’t remember it being written like this.”
With great assurance, Shi Yu said to him, “This is how it’s written. I’ll teach you once again.”
Shi Yu also practiced writing with his parents. His handwriting was very neat, and he wrote the two characters “知” (knowledge) neatly.
Later, Chu Yihang took the notebook to find the girl. “Boss, boss, someone said your name is written like this.”
The girl looked at the strange line on the notebook and got angry. “Idiot, this is not my name.”
Her name was clearly Xia Chi!
After realising he showed the incorrect page, Chu Yihang hurriedly turned a new one and pointed at the words Shi Yu had written, saying, “This is it, this one.”
Word by word, Xia Chi read aloud, pointing to the notebook, “Know…know… Huh…”
She suddenly felt that “Zhi” was more beautiful and nicer-sounding than “Chi.”.
“I’ve decided, I’ll be called Zhizhi from now on!” exclaimed Xia Chi, gesturing to the lovely word in the notebook.
Have a nice day!
