Wen Tingyu never acted like a spoilt child.

However, when they start to act coquettishly, it might be fatal.

How could Shen Luobai say anything unpleasant while the girl was hiding in his arms?

He carried Wen Tingyu home because he thought she was frightened. 

As they reached the front door, Wen Tingyu took the keys from her bag with a trembling hand.

“My legs are weak.” Wen Tingyu grasped his hand and wouldn’t let go after Shen Luobai placed her on the ground.

Shen Luobai: “…”

Although she was acting coquettishly, she didn’t show any cute expression on her face like most girls. 

But Shen Luobai couldn’t refuse her.

He was shaken by the incident on the road just some time ago. ‘What would happen if I was late to pull her?’

That was the reason he listened to Wen Tingyu’s words and followed her into the house.

Wen Tingyu stood at the door for a while.

Shen Luobai took out his phone and sent a message to his mother saying he would be late.

“Do you want to drink water?” Wen Tingyu brought two glasses of water and gave one to the man.

Shen Luobai raised his eyes, stared into her eyes, and muttered, “Are you okay?”

“I have a psychological shadow.” Wen Tingyu did not change her expression and insisted on lying, “I am extremely scared now.”

“Wen Tingyu, do you know you are not very good at lying?”

‘Oh! I got exposed.’ Wen Tingyu suppressed her laughter and asked seriously, “Really? Then didn’t you also send me back?”

Shen Luobai: “Since you are okay, I will leave first.”

“Bang!” Wen Tingyu put her glass of water on the table, stood up, and leaned towards the man.

Today, Wen Tingyu was wearing a chiffon floral dress made of silk. Bending down caused the neckline’s fabric to droop, revealing a perfect scenery. 

Seeing that, Shen Luobai’s throat became dry all of a sudden, and he wanted to drink some water. 

It was very silent inside the house, and they felt they could hear each other’s heartbeats.

Suddenly Wen Tingyu’s voice burst through the subdued mood of the room.“I locked the door.”

With a fast-beating heart, Shen Luobai abruptly touched the glass in front of him as his breathing became laboured.

One glass of water couldn’t suppress the burning fire in his heart, so he picked up the other glass and gulped down the water.

The corners of Wen Tingyu’s mouth lifted, forming a very shallow arc. “Shen Luobai, are you very scared?”

“I’m… just worried about you.”

“Why do you worry about me? Worried that something might happen to me?” She leaned in more and whispered, “If something happens to me, no one will bother you anymore. But you hugged me so tightly just now as if I was someone you cared about very much.”

She sat next to the man with a sly expression.

“Wen Tingyu!” His own heartbeat was becoming uncontrollable, and Shen Luobai could hear it.

He was a doctor, but he was still unable to detect his own symptoms now.

Wen Tingyu knelt on the couch after turning around. Her thin arms instinctively encircled Shen Luobai’s arms, and she raised her head to whisper in his ear. “The glass you just drank was wine.”

Hot air touched the man’s ear, and numbness spread all over his body. ‘It makes sense why I am feeling so strange.’

“You really don’t like me?”

The girl’s voice lingered in his ears; then transmitted into his heart, making his heart ache.

Shen Luobai grabbed the girl’s wrist and spoke even more fiercely than before, “Tingyu! Let go!”

Wen Tingyu would certainly not let him go. Tonight, Shen Luobai lost control and hugged her, which was an active response.

Probably no one could understand why she could not forget Shen Luobai.

It was said that it was impossible to forget someone who impressed you at first sight. Furthermore, she allowed someone to become the hero in her heart, and it remained the same over these past years. 

Although he wasn’t always kind to her at first, Shen Luobai always showed up when she needed help to give her a helping hand. That was enough to make him unforgettable.

Although Shen Luobai was the one who was holding her, Wen Tingyu took advantage of Shen Luobai’s confused state. She held the man’s other hand and guided him to touch her face. From her chin to the tip of her nose, and then to the middle of her bright red lips. “You really don’t like it?”

Then she leaned towards the man’s lips.

Her kiss, her every movement, every sound, all aroused him.

The two of them had rolled onto the sofa without knowing when. Their warm breaths intertwined and lingered, and their hands roamed each other’s bodies.

The man put his head in the crook of her neck and scraped his teeth on her flesh, letting her know that she was no longer the only one taking the initiative.

Finally, Wen Tingyu insisted on saying while purposefully blowing air into his ear. “There’s nothing I can do if you don’t like it. Let me go!”

She then took the key from somewhere and waved it in front of the man’s eyes. “The key is here. If you want to leave, use this to open the door. But this is the last time I’m troubling you. I promise not to bother you for a single moment in my life if you leave this door today. I’ll just act as though we’ve never met.”

Her words hit the man’s heart hard, and he felt immense pain.

He knew this woman’s temperament, and he knew that she would do what she said for sure.

At this moment, Shen Luobai’s eyes no longer had the usual cold and indifferent look; even his eye sockets were red. “Wen Tingyu, don’t force me.”

“I’m not forcing you. I’m just helping you see your own heart.”

She knew she had already won this time.

The man gritted his teeth and asked angrily, “Where is the room?”

As the woman gestured to the room, the man hurriedly carried her into the room.

She was slammed on the soft bed, and the man with the burning desire pressed on her in an instant.

As she felt the tearing pain, she scratched the man’s back with her trembling fingers. She shed tears because of the pain, but she was smiling inside her heart.

“Shen Luobai, I just lied to you.”

“The glass you drank was not wine; it was water.”

‘So, from the beginning to the end, you have been sober and fallen for me!’
