Chapter 59.3 – Tingyu x Luobai 5

As the game was over, the group of friends decided to leave.

Wen Tingyu waved at them and left alone. 

She ran into Shen Luobai shortly after she left. Shen Luobai was standing in the crowd, but she recognised him at a look.

Wen Tingyu approached him cautiously and raised her face slightly. “Where are we going?”

The man didn’t reply. 

Shen Luobai’s eyes twitched, and his attitude seemed strange, especially after she mentioned going to the hotel.

Wen Tingyu turned her head away.

She couldn’t tell what he was thinking in the past, but now she believed Shen Luobai was a straightforward person.

After going through so many thoughts in his head, Shen Luobai finally asked. “Have you eaten?”

Wen Tingyu: ‘… What a coward!’

They walked to a restaurant together. They were so close that their hands almost touched.

After hesitating for some time, he moved his hand and clasped their hands.

Wen Tingyu held the man’s hand tightly and asked again, “Do you think that two people walking hand in hand on the street look like they are on a date?”

Shen Luobai sighed silently.

They ate quietly.

“What’s more meaningful when dating someone you like?” One of the girls, who was eating at the next table, asked her friend, and Wen Tingyu and Shen Luobai heard that. 

Wen Tingyu’s ears perked up upon hearing the girl’s question.

Shen Luobai suddenly picked up a crystal dumpling and put it into her bowl. “Eat.”

Wen Tingyu returned his gaze to the bowl, scooped up the white and soft crystal dumpling with chopsticks, and placed it in her mouth.

Just as she was about to open her mouth to take a bite, she caught a glimpse of Shen Luobai sitting at the very front, so she deliberately opened her mouth slowly and bit half of the crystal ball with her teeth.

The bright red lips contrasted sharply with the white crystal balls.

Then, she swallowed it slowly.

She asked Shen Luobai, “Do you want to know the answer to that question just now?”

Shen Luobai paused his chopsticks.

Wen Tingyu stared at him directly and replied, “When you’re with the person you love, whatever you do is meaningful. Like now.”

Shen Luobai never thought that he would meet such a girl, who was calm, cool, and tenacious.

Her every move and every word tempted him to fall for her.

After the meal, they didn’t have any other plans, so they went directly to the hotel where Wen Tingyu had been staying for the past three days. 

The room was clean and tidy, and it showed that the person living there paid attention to hygiene.

As there were only two of them in the room, it was quiet and convenient for them to talk. 

Wen Tingyu sat on the bed like a lady.

“I’m sorry about what happened that night,” Shen Luobai muttered after pulling a chair and placing it opposite her. 

The jealous attitude he showed a while ago had completely vanished, and the man looked very calm now. 

However, Wen Tingyu thought that she still liked Shen Luobai in the secret room just some time ago.

“You speak like you are a scumbag…”Wen Tingyu said while tapping on her knees.

Shen Luobai maintained a serious expression and stated, “I will admit what I did, but Tingyu, the person who really needs to be considered is you.”

“Yeah.” Wen Tingyu gave a light, perfunctory nod and did not take it seriously.

Shen Luobai’s bold attitude towards her was truly… irritating and helpless. But the woman was a tough nut. Today, she was more patient than she was three years ago.

“What do you want me to do?” he asked.

“What do I want from you?”Wen Tingyu raised her eyes and stared at the man. “I don’t need you to take responsibility. After all, I took the initiative.”

“You are a girl.” Shen Luobai still felt that he was taking advantage of Wen Tingyu.

“It was a few days ago.” Wen Tingyu remarked, “I’m old enough to get a marriage certificate.”

‘Marriage…’ Shen Luobai roughly guessed what she was thinking, but he couldn’t say it out loud easily.

“If I want you to marry me, will you agree?”

Upon hearing the woman’s words, Shen Luobai nodded without hesitation and stated confidently, “I will.”

“That’s enough.” She extended a hand and hooked Shen Luobai’s fingers. “Today, you neither drank water nor drank alcohol.”

Her fingers gently stroked his protruding Adam’s apple, and she had already moved from the bed to sit on his lap.

The clam-heart instantly became a mess again. 

The man hugged the woman tightly and warned her through gritted teeth. “Don’t run anymore.”

“I won’t run.” The woman’s laughter overflowed from her throat and completely occupied his heart.

They tried to stop many times, from physical accommodation to soul harmony, from bed to bathroom but sparks never stopped flying.
