Chapter 60.2 – Tingyu x Luobai 6

Wen Tingyu and Shen Luobai were going back to Yunyang City today, so before they parted, Wen Tingyu handed Yu Zhiyi a little gift.

It was a small square box sealed: just a bit bigger than her thumb.

Curious, Yu Zhiyi opened it to find a sleek black lipstick case inside, with a gold-plated rim around the opening.

This lipstick case was really something special.

She popped off the cap, twisted the middle, and out came a beautiful cherry pink lipstick.

Not everyone could pull off this shade, but with her fair skin, it looked really good on her.

Excited, she dashed to the mirror and applied it on her lips for a quick test.

Feeling pretty pleased with herself, she rushed out to the living room, leaned close to Shi Yi, and asked with a big smile, “How does it look?”

She smacked her lips, the glossy finish catching the light.

Shi Yi beckoned her closer with a finger.

Yu Zhiyi took a small step forward, saying, “This is a gift from Tingyu. I’ve never tried this colour before. Do you think it suits me?”

Not all guys lacked an eye for style. Shi Yi, at least, had a good grasp of what girls like, especially Yu Zhiyi.

So when she asked for his opinion, she was really looking for his approval.

He squinted slightly, wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled her in. His tongue brushed against the lipstick on her lips, exploring for a moment before he finally let her go.

Yu Zhiyi’s breath hitched, but she managed to keep her cool. 

After a few seconds, he replied slowly, “It tastes good.”

It was just a simple kiss at first, but the guy who used to use drunkenness as an excuse to kiss her before was now getting bolder.

“I just wanted to know if it looked good.”

“I love it so much.”

Yu Zhiyi: “…Then you can just answer my question first!”

“What does this mean? Answer the question first, and then I can do other things.

‘Oh! He deliberately misinterpreted my words again!’

Shi Yi’s eyes sparkled with mischief. He was having a little fun, but her response was way more intense than he expected… it was captivating, igniting a fire in his heart.

When Yu Zhi turned away, Shi Yi quickly grabbed her, stopping her in her tracks.

Yu Zhiyi shot him a glare, but she didn’t look angry; she looked more like a puffy-cheeked hamster than anything fierce.

Shi Yi turned her to face him, took her delicate hand, and guided it to his waist, showing her how to climb up. “Hold me,” he said, his voice deep and smooth, making it hard to resist.

“But it’s…” she started, but her words faded away.

The curtains on the balcony fluttered in the breeze. Even though they were in the living room with no one around, it was broad daylight… it felt a bit naughty.

Shi Yi’s tall frame completely shielded her, and they were practically glued together, moving from the living room to the bedroom.

Her shirt was hiked up, and with Shi Yi so close, she was so nervous her toes curled.

She remembered what Wen Tingyu had said.

But she felt mature enough to know that if things escalated, she wouldn’t push back.

Her fingers shifted from hugging him to clutching the hem of her shirt, too overwhelmed to think about anything else.

Her skin was as pale as cream, and Shi Yi kissed her tenderly all over, but just when it got intense, he pulled back, stopping short of going all the way.

Even with the air conditioning on, she was sweating.

Yu Zhiyi felt completely drained. 

After Shi Yi released her, Yu Zhiyi grabbed a thin blanket to cover half her face, letting out a soft hum before going still.

When Shi Yi reached for her again, she instinctively flinched away.

His laughter filled the air. “I won’t move.” He just helped her pull her clothes down to cover her slim waist that was exposed.

This kind of thing would happen later, but Shi Yi promised her. “I won’t touch you before we get married.”

‘How long will that take?’

Unexpectedly, it happened on her 22nd birthday.
