September: Xiacheng – IO Jewelry Group, Translation Department
“Director Fynn of the German TIE Group is visiting the translation department today, so everyone, do your best,” encouraged Huang Qiansong, the director of the translation department.
“Okay.” All the members of the translation department responded and started to do their work.
After considering Chen Wanwan’s suggestion, Xu Xingxing came to Xiacheng and joined IO Jewelry, where Chen Wanwan was working.
“Ahhh….. President Huai is coming today! I’m so excited.”
As soon as everyone sat down to work, the three little girls next to Xu Xingxing gathered around and screamed softly. These girls had joined the company alongside Xu Xingxing, and having only worked at IO for a week, they had never met President Huai, who was coming to inspect today.

“He is more handsome in real life than in pictures,” added Li Miaoxue, a veteran of the translation department. She was 28-years-old this year and was very beautiful.
“Really? Wow!” The girl asked enviously, “Sister Li, have you met Mr. Huai?”
“I accompanied Minister Huang to a dinner meeting with Mr. Huai before.” Li Miaoxue was Huang Qiansong’s assistant and had worked in the translation department for many years, so her words were highly credible.

“Xu Xingxing, translate this material and give it to me before getting off work.” Li Miaoxue handed the folder to Xu Xingxing.
“Okay,” she replied.
IO Jewelry Group was a publicly listed company. Their business took place not only in China but also in other countries, so the translation department was always very busy.
“President Huai is here.” Suddenly someone pushed open the glass door to inform everyone.
Everyone stood up and got ready to welcome President Huai. Huang Qiansong and the two deputy department heads walked out of the office and went to the door ahead of time to greet them.
Among the group of people who came today, one was speaking in fluent German. This led everyone to think it was Director Fynn.
He was well-dressed, had pure black hair with a fair complexion, and his light-brown eyes were deep like the sea.
Xu Xingxing felt very shocked when she saw him. Her legs started trembling slightly, and her back was sweating.
It….It’s him. Oh My God…It’s him. How can he be here?
The man who was talking seemed to become aware of Xu Xingxing’s gaze, and he looked at her with his deep smiling eyes. She panicked and looked away.
At the end of the inspection, the man politely left with the German group. As soon as the crowd left the translation department, the joyful screams of the girls spread throughout the department.
“Ahhh! That is President Huai. He’s so good-looking, and he speaks such fluent German!”
Xu Xingxing’s mind was a mess. How can it be him?…No…I must have recognized the wrong man, right? She gradually calmed down, and then resumed working.
Soon, it was time to get off work, but she was not done. Chen Wanwan came over with an umbrella and looked at Xu Xingxing. “Hey, it’s going to rain, let’s go home. This document will not be needed until next week, so you can complete this tomorrow.”
“You go back first, I’ll finish this soon,” Xu Xingxing replied.
Chen Wanwan knew Xu Xingxing’s temper, so she didn’t insist and said, “Ok, then I’ll go first. My husband is on a business trip, so I have to pick up my son. My mother-in-law told me it’ll rain today, so I’ll leave the umbrella for you.”
“No need, it’s not raining yet. I’ll leave in a while. Go quickly. Your son may be waiting. See you tomorrow,” said Xu Xingxing.
“Ok then. Bye, pay attention to your safety.” Chen Wanwan left.
Xu Xingxing continued working after her friend left. By the time the document was completely translated, all the people in her department had left work. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning split the dark sky, and it signaled that rain was about to fall.
Noticing this, Xu Xingxing quickly packed up and left the office. It was raining by the time she reached the lobby, so she turned back and was about to go to the front desk to borrow an umbrella when she heard someone’s footsteps. She looked back, only to see President Huai walking towards her.
Xu Xingxing panicked, hurriedly turned around and walked towards the side door of the company. The moment she stepped outside, she found her path blocked by the heavy rain, and also got splashed by the rain. Without an umbrella, it was hard to go forward. Just as Xingxing was thinking about how to go home, the raindrops falling at her feet suddenly stopped. She looked up and saw a black umbrella. Someone was holding an umbrella and blocking the rain for her.
Xu Xingxing’s eyes met a pair of peach blossom eyes, and she was left breathless for a moment.
“Long time no see.” His voice was low and magnetic. Xu Xingxing shivered. He still remembered her.
Unforgettable memories of what happened that fateful night flashed in her mind. Her face turned red.
Huai Jing looked down at the woman beside him. She was still dressed in plain clothes, with only her white neck exposed.
Xu Xingxing lowered her head, and said softly, “Mr. Huai, you have got the wrong person.”
A smile flashed in his eyes. “So, you and your ex-husband got married again?”
