Noble Son-in-Law - Chapter 5.3

Chapter 5.3
Shen Wang rested profoundly, while Shen Qingqing dozed gently. A wisp of cool wind blew, and she awakened right away. At the point when she woke up, she saw her grandma sitting by the bed, holding a fan, and fanning them.
“Grandmother, why don’t you rest?” Shen Qingqing gradually sat up and asked delicately.
Mrs Song looked at her grandson beside her with a very gentle look. “I haven’t seen you for three years. Let me look at you two more.”
Shen Qingqing felt inexplicably sad and knelt down. She grabbed her grandmother’s round fan and fanned it for the old woman. “Grandma, rest and let your granddaughter respect you.”
Mrs. Song was exceptionally satisfied. “Qingqing has become more and more sensible now.”
Discussing being sensible, Shen Qingqing felt stressed. She shook the fan and murmured in a soft tone, “Grandmother, My mom has given me a ton of jewellery in the past couple of years. It would be a waste if I couldn’t wear it, wouldn’t you say?”
Mrs. Song was able to guess the young girl’s thoughts easily; she smiled kindly and replied, “Yae, it’s very much a pity.”
Shen Qingqing quickly hurled herself entirely into her grandmother’s arms and asked delicately, “Then, at that point, if it’s not too much trouble, can you convince my granddad and allow him to not be stressed over what our sisters wear?”
Mrs. Tune shook her head. “The six sisters above you listen to your granddad’s words.
If I intercede for you, he will understand what is happening and punish your father on behalf of you.”
Shen Qingqing was restless. “Then there could be no other way? I don’t want to dress up like a nun every day.”
Mrs. Song teased her. “You want to dress beautifully; do you want to show it to someone?”
Shen Qingqing murmured, “For what reason do I need to show it to somebody? I like it myself. Doesn’t my grandma like it? Those intriguing silk and silk adornments?”
Mrs. Song normally enjoyed them, and she additionally had ways of managing the old Mrs. Shen, who was living in a somewhat remote backyard with one older aunt. So she didn’t have to show off for anyone, and mostly she didn’t want to have conflicts with her husband because of these trivial matters.
“Could it be that you are truly terrified of your granddad?” Seeing her grandmother was silent, Shen Qingqing asked while pouting.
Mrs. Shen hung over and murmured a couple of words in her granddaughter’s ear.

The red sun gradually set in the west, and the sweltering heat that enveloped the capital for a day was finally blown away by the evening breeze.
In the cabinet, Mr. Liu Ge put down the brochure he had just prepared. When he looked up, he found that his colleague, Mr. Shen Qushenge, had not left either.
“Your youngest son has come back today. Why don’t you go back earlier?” Old Liu Ge asked curiously.
Shen Qushenge said without raising his head, “We haven’t seen each other for three years, not ten or twenty years.”
Liu Ge was finally convinced, cleared the table, and left first.
Shen Qushenge continued to review the memorial until the remaining four memorials were annotated, then he slapped his sore back and slowly stood up.
The sky had turned blue, and the last trace of the setting sun was about to disappear. Seeing that, Shen Qushenge couldn’t help but quicken his pace.
Outside the palace gate, the Shen family’s coachman had been waiting for a long time.
After Shen Qushenge got in the carriage, he heard the driver’s whip sound, and he said in a serious voice, “Slow down; be careful not to hit anyone.”
The driver wanted to go faster. After all, he thought the old man wanted to get home quickly because his son was back. But it seemed not.
In the carriage, Shen Qushenge looked upset a few times, but he didn’t say anything in the end.
When the carriage went into the narrow street where Shen’s big house was, it was very dark.
Shen Qushenge sighed. He didn’t want to see his third child right away, but he was looking forward to seeing his third child’s children.
Before he could finish thinking, the coachman outside shouted, “Look, Master, Third Master, and the others are out to pick you up!”
Hearing that, Shen Qushenge felt nervous and leaned out of the window to see, but he suddenly remembered the rules and sat properly.
He was a grandpa and needed to be a good and dependable role model for his grandchildren. He thought seriously.
