“Grandma is still the best!”

As soon as Shen Qingqing saw the three boxes of jewellery on the table, she knew that her grandmother had convinced her grandfather.

 “What’s the matter?” Shen Jiayi was still in the dark and didn’t understand why her grandmother called her.

 “Your grandfather finally gave his words. From today onwards, you sisters can dress up as you want. But you have to remember this clearly. As long as you don’t show off like the girls from the Zhang family, your grandfather will not care about it anymore,” Mrs Song explained with a loving smile.

 “Really?” Shen Jiayi couldn’t believe her ears!

 Which woman didn’t love beauty, and Shen Jiayi had no expectations? Because of her grandfather’s rules in the family, she didn’t have a chance to dress up like other girls and show off her beauty, so ever since she was a child, she envied those girls. Even though the second room has money, her mother didn’t let her disobey her grandfather, so she has always been forced to live “simply.”

Mrs. Song nodded. “Of course it’s true.”

After she heard it, Shen Jiayi screamed happily and then hugged Shen Qingqing. She was even more happy than she was during the Chinese New Year.

 The two sisters hugged each other for a while, then sat down next to Mrs. Song and hugged her from both sides.

Mrs. Song pushed a box of jewellery in front of the two little girls, saying, “These were my dowries back then. They are all good things, but they may not keep up with the current trend.” She looked at her two granddaughters lovingly and continued. “You pick up what you like from these and take the things you don’t like to a jewellery shop and make new patterns.”

 Shen Jiayi and Shen Qingqing stared at each other without moving. Shen Qingqing said, “Since grandpa doesn’t care about it, grandma can keep it for herself. You are still young. Dress up for Grandpa to see. He will definitely like it.”

 Hearing her little granddaughter’s playful words, Mrs. Song pretended to be sad and said, “Your grandpa doesn’t care about me, so I don’t want them.”

 With her grandmother’s refusal to keep them to herself, Shen Qingqing had no choice but to accept it.

 Right now, Xiuer has returned from the main room feeling angry. She said, “Auntie, I invited the fifth girl. The fifth girl was clearly not busy. I don’t know what she was whispering to the eldest lady, and the eldest lady wanted help from the fifth girl, but the fifth girl didn’t want to come over.”

 Shen Jiayi saw the third box on the table and asked with interest, “Why are that mother and daughter so obsessed with money? Grandma is going to give a prize today; why are they acting distant again?”

 Shen Jiayi has lived in the capital for a long time and was very rude in her remarks.

 Xiuer laughed and asked, “Auntie, are you going to give a reward to the fifth girl? If I knew that, I would have said that.”

 Shen Jiayi laughed upon hearing those words.

 Shen Qingqing looked at her grandma. ‘It seems my grandmother has been looked down on by others, but my grandmother is not mad?’

 Actually, Mrs Song was not mad; she gestured towards the jewellery box and said, “You need to take the items over again and deliver them.

 Shen Qingqing looked worried, and so did Shen Jiayi.

 “Grandma, why are you still giving it? Does anyone even appreciate you?” Shen Jiayi asked in a worried voice.

 Xiuer commented, “Yes, that’s correct.”

 Mrs. Song, who knew about the first room, pondered for a few seconds before answering. “You both know what’s going on in the first room. If I don’t give her jewellery, she will be unhappy. She doesn’t have anything nice to wear, and if she sees you looking nice, she might get jealous and complain to your grandfather. He is very busy, so let’s not cause him any trouble.”

 Shen Qingqing suddenly understood what was happening. ‘Grandma was really worried about us sisters and grandfather.’

 “Grandma, don’t worry; Sixth Sister and I will take care of you.” Shen Qingqing hugged the older woman’s arm and said.

 Shen Jiayi quickly hugged Mrs. Song’s right arm.

 Mrs Song felt very happy as she hugged her two lovely granddaughters. After thinking, she chose two red bracelets from the third box and placed them on the two sisters’ wrists. She said, “She doesn’t like it, so I should love my granddaughters more.”

 The old woman acted like a child when seeking revenge. Shen Jiayi and Shen Qingqing both smiled and laughed together, while Xiuer took the box and went to the main room.
