The eldest lady and her daughter were really busy these days. The Queen’s birthday would be celebrated at the end of the month; therefore, as the Queen’s natal family, the Shen family has to give some face.

“Mom, what do you think of my orchid embroidery?” Shen Jiarong asked, holding the embroidery cloth.

“Yes, Rong’er’s embroidery skills are getting more and more charming now. The eldest lady carefully examined her daughter’s work and praised it with a proud smile.

The eldest lady looked up suddenly.

Jinshu was the messenger and her trusted maid. Jinshu saw the mother and daughter looking at her. She said happily, “Xiuer has a box of jewellery. She said it was given to the fifth, sixth, and seventh girls over there.”

‘Jewellery…a box of jewellery?’

 The eldest lady was surprised, and Shen Jiarong stood up with even more excitement.

“Tell her to come in fast.,” Shen Jiarong said in a hurry.

 Jinshu left with a smile, and the eldest lady woke up. She made a sad face and told her daughter. “This is a trivial matter that makes people laugh when it spreads.”

 Shen Jiarong felt embarrassed and looked down.

 Xiuer quickly gave the box to the maid without showing much excitement, and she went away right away.
