Chapter 2.2

I was unprepared to receive the certificate, and we took the wedding certificate photo on a whim. 

 The process was simple:

 On Teacher’s Day, I had dinner in the cafeteria of T University. The moonlight was nice, and there were not many mosquitoes. I was not in a hurry to go back to the hospital, so I just wandered around. I accidentally wandered into the student living area. The photo studio was crowded. It turned out that to celebrate Teacher’s Day, people at the university could get a discount on ID photos.

 ‘What? Isn’t it just a discount on ID photos? Why is this place so crowded? Mmmm…what if the photographer is not good enough?

Humph, if it were our school, we wouldn’t give up our pursuit of beauty for such a small gain.’ My head was filled with such thoughts. 

“You can pick it up immediately. Teachers are getting free photos.” Teacher Lu read the words above and looked at me meaningfully. “Well, I just washed my hair; it is fluffy and shiny; I also washed my face and wiped it.” 

I went over and sniffed, “Vitamin E lotion.”

Teacher Lu: “Could you please don’t tell me the name of the cosmetics? It’s very disrespectful.”

“So, what do you want to do?” I asked.

Teacher Lu, who usually wanted to join Longquan Temple for scientific research, was very interested in the prosperity of this world today. Before the word “escape” could escape my mind, Teacher Lu’s big hand had already pulled me into the crowd.

“Take advantage once a year.” Teacher Lu took out the T University work ID card from his pocket and said, “Wedding photo, thank you!”

“There shouldn’t be a red background here, right?” I asked softly, trying to run out.

“Isn’t there Photoshop for that?”

“Since you can Photoshop, you might as well take photos of your daily life.”

“That won’t work. Marriage matters should be more serious.”

‘Serious? Are you still serious when you see a sale on a whim?’

Photographer in the photo studio: “Smile, smile, smile…” Infinite loop repeater.

This is why I don’t like photo studios. It’s chaotic as soon as I enter, and I feel like the whole world is calling me.

“It’s our turn.” Teacher Lu fiddled with my head and straightened his own: “Calm down your mood and smile.”

I felt a little angry for no reason.

There was originally a bright red background cloth in the photo studio, but it fell off for unknown reasons, and the staff had no time to turn it over on this busy day.

When I heard this good news, I felt so happy.

“Another day,” I said. Anyway, getting the certificate is not on today’s agenda.

At this time, one of Teacher Lu’s graduate students was passing by carrying a Teacher’s Day celebration banner. When he saw Teacher Lu, he greeted her enthusiastically. “Teacher Lu.”

So, Teacher Lu pretended to be a private person, so we successfully took a photo that would be posted on the marriage certificate in the future. While taking the photo, there were more than 20 melon-eating people lying behind the photographer. 

It was supposed to be a scene for two people, but countless people were squeezed in to see the scenery.

What a crowded wedding photo!

In the printed photo, I was smiling a lot, but I also felt a little shy and a little angry. Teacher Lu tried to make me laugh by gently rubbing my back with one finger, so I couldn’t help but smile mysteriously, like the “Mona Lisa.” If the lens moves by 0.1 centimetres, the banner’s message would look straight in the photo.

Teacher Lu looked at the photos for a while and commented. “The girl is talented, and the boy is very good-looking. They are a perfect match. They are not acting like they are better than others. And they appear to be content without wearing any makeup.”

I put my hand over my face and said, “I feel happier when I wear makeup. Looking at my face with no makeup is too scary.” I gave him an angry look while saying, “Anyway, can you stop always talking about how good you look wherever we are?”

“Okay, now look for differences,” said Teacher Lu as he looked at the photos one by one. “You can praise me at any time and in any place instead.”

‘Is this person brave enough to be even more bold?’

 After a few days, I noticed that I could see our wedding photos everywhere I looked.

Teacher Lu said, “There are people in charge of you, and my wife is in charge of me.”

“Do you not believe in any gods? Where do you think God came from?”

“You are the one I worship and believe in.”

It was a little chilly. 

Someone said, “Well, the goddess.” He spoke the sutra slowly and beautifully.

I held onto his arm and bit it.

While shopping, I discovered that my wallet was not spared either.

Me: “You can just look at it yourself. Why did you put one in my wallet?”

Teacher Lu: “This means that you can see me when you spend money, which makes it more reliable.”

I believed it was best to have a black card in my wallet. 

Since then, I have been trying to find time to take another picture, but I still couldn’t get it, so I had to use the one I had for the marriage certificate.

After getting the certificate, Teacher Lu also gave two boxes of wedding candies to the photo studio. The young girl at the photo studio said, “Last time there was no background, and the photo didn’t look good. Can I take a new picture for you? It won’t cost anything.

I was absent-minded at the time, and I said, “Next time!”

Teacher Lu’s face turned green.
