I was on a business trip before I got the marriage certificate.

Teacher Lu: “Xiaoxiao, come back quickly to get the certificate.”

Me: “Hey, why are you mentioning it again?”

“You leave such a good man like me at home; aren’t you afraid you will miss me?”

Me: ‘How can you always feel good about yourself?’

After receiving the certificate, Teacher Lu shouted “Wife, wife…” repeatedly, which gave me a headache.

Me: “Why do you keep shouting?” 

Teacher Lu: “Just practice. If you have nothing to do, you should enhance your sense of language and develop your emotions.”

Me: “…” ‘What the hell! Wait, what emotions are brewing?’

At some point, Teacher Lu had thrown his coat on the sofa and was sharpening his knife towards me.

“Ah… um…”

Ten thousand words couldn’t describe this.

Our two families had dinner together after receiving the certificate. 

During the dinner, my dear couldn’t help but gossip. “Brother-in-law, why do you like my sister? She doesn’t care about skincare at all, and she works the night shift. Her skin is worse than Ge Ge.”

Ge Ge was her pet dog.

Teacher Lu: “She does skincare!”

My mother nudged me with her chopsticks and said, “You can’t tell, but she’s gotten better.”

My sister couldn’t believe it. She asked, “Is that true?”

Teacher Lu said that his wife always used facial cleanser when she washed her face.

The whole family said, “Uh~~~~.” 

My mother’s chopsticks fell to the floor. 

‘Teacher Lu, do you have any misunderstandings about skincare?’

My sister said to Mom, “Mom, you are happy too early.”

I smiled, and then I threw a napkin at her.

My sister asked her brother-in-law, “Did you ever think that there are women who don’t know how to put on makeup or lip gloss?” 

I rolled my eyes.

‘Who puts on a lot of makeup and works in the fields?’

Teacher Lu: “Your sister is good at applying makeup.”

My sister and I were so surprised.

Teacher Lu said, “She always puts on sunscreen.”

The entire family said, “Uh~~~.”

‘Teacher Lu, do you have any questions about makeup?’

Teacher Lu and his junior brother felt jealous when they found out that many of our dormmates got married early. 

The junior brother: “Girls in medical schools are smart and have lots of opportunities. Why didn’t I choose to study medicine at the beginning? Senior brother, do you think I should switch my major now? Is it too late?”

Teacher Lu looked serious and said, “In my experience, people who are not attractive may have a hard time finding a girlfriend or boyfriend in school.”

The junior brother: “…”

Teacher Lu’s words made my heart feel like it was on fire, and everything I had worked so hard for was gone.

At a party, I went to the bathroom. When I returned, I saw the school belle from our high school sitting in my chair.

She smiled and said, “Azhi, I heard you like Shen Hanxiao from the next class.” (Teacher Lu was in the same class as the school belle because he skipped a grade.) 

Teacher Lu said in a cold tone, “I don’t know you, so you should call me Lu Zhizhou. Shen Hanxiao and I have the certificate already. Thank you for asking about it.” 

The school belle didn’t intend to stop. “I heard that Shen Hanxiao was a troublemaker in middle school and got into big trouble in high school. Did she tell you that?”

Teacher Lu was a little upset and said, “It’s none of your business to know about Shen Hanxiao’s private matters.”

School belle: “Don’t get mad; everyone has something good about them.” Can you tell me what’s so good about Shen Hanxiao? Please tell me so I can study hard.”

Teacher Lu: “I have never taken advantage of her. I haven’t compared her with others, so I can’t answer. However, one thing I can tell you is that she is smarter than you.”

School belle: “Smarter?”

Teacher Lu: “Yes, at least she never tries to impress other people’s husbands by talking ill about their wives.” 

Seeing the school belle occupying the magpie’s nest, I stepped forward, arched my back, and pushed the school belle aside.

The school belle smiled and said, “Are you Shen Hanxiao? I was in the same class as Azhi. You need to recognise who I am.” 

I got some food for Teacher Lu and said, “My husband said that he doesn’t know you, so how can I know you?”

Alas! Listing her as a love rival just now was a bit insulting to Teacher Lu!
