Chapter 38.1 – Kiss

Su Yan’s cheeks became hot. She quickly turned away, stopped looking at Bai Xingfan, and said, “Please drive safely and don’t talk. If you do, I’ll give you a red card!”

Bai Xingfan smiled and replied, “Alright. I’ll obey.”

As soon as he stopped talking, both Su Yan’s and Bai Xingfan’s mobile phones vibrated inside the car.

Both of them understood something and let out a sigh at the same time.

Su Yan whispered to herself as she read the messages on WeChat. “Are they arguing in the group chat again?”

Bai Xingfan told Bai Xinglan to run long distances every day, and Su Zhan was responsible for supervising him.

Su Zhan took a serious and responsible approach and formed a small group with three other people. He even called it the “Waste Training Group”, and the goal was to monitor and manage Bai Xinglan together.

Bai Xinglan was no longer happy with the name of the group and fought with Su Zhan through the group, and afterward, they decided to change the group name to “See the prince rise up.”

Su Zhan smiled mockingly and then renamed the group “Fixing Self-Obsessed People Group.”

Bai Xinglan kept on using bad words and changed the group name to say that someone who was in charge of showcasing things shouldn’t be clueless.

Su Zhan made another change: “There is someone with the name Lan Lan who has some self-awareness.”

Su Yan felt very stressed and almost gave up being part of the group. Finally, Bai Xingfan decided to rename the group “Shut Up,” and the two people ceased their activities.

Bai Xingfan was driving and couldn’t check his phone, but even without looking, he could tell that the two guys were causing trouble in the group again.

Su Yan opened the WeChat group and noticed that Su Zhan had posted a video. As she watched the video, she saw Bai Xinglan running energetically around the playground without stopping.

Bai Xinglan was wearing a blue shirt with short sleeves and black pants that were made of sweat material. He was sweating a lot and his face was all red, and therefore, it seemed like he was about to collapse and fall down any moment.

After two seconds, the video starts playing with a voice talking in the background.

“Did you only run three laps?” Su Zhan asked.

Bai Xinglan had a weak voice, but he definitely had a lot of hate towards someone as he said, “If you record again, I will kill you.”

Su Zhan said, “If I run backwards, you can’t catch me. So, even though you want to kill me, it doesn’t bother me. Let’s meet again in the next life.”

Bai Xinglan said something, but it was not clear.

The video finished there.

Su Yan didn’t know how to look and sighed again. “I don’t even know how to judge them both.”

Bai Xingfan was very tired and compared it to taking care of two misbehaving children.

Su Yan completely agreed with the statement that it was the type of situation where parents have to make judgements every day.

Bai Xingfan found it entertaining and said, “It’s very lifelike.” However, he quickly became serious and said, “Tell Xiao Zhan not to return to the dormitory until Xinglan runs ten laps.”

Su Yan was sad for Bai Xinglan and said, “You are really mean as a brother, aren’t you?”

Bai Xingfan strongly believed that being tired after just three laps of exercise showed that he was not physically strong and didn’t exercise enough.

Su Yan: “Then you need to go at a gradual pace. Are you not scared of making him very tired to the point of death?”

“He is not a baby.” Bai Xingfan sighed, feeling helpless. “Our family has always pampered him since he was young.”

Su Yan finally realised why Bai Xinglan was extremely scared of his brother. It turned out that his brother was the only one in their family who enforced strict rules and disciplined him.

Anyway, if Bai Xingfan didn’t care about him, he would likely be used to being a clueless guy.

So she understood that Bai Xingfan’s request was fair, but she thought it was too difficult for Bai Xinglan. “Couldn’t he take a break in the middle? It’s really exhausting to run ten laps all at once.”

Bai Xingfan pondered for a bit and suggested, “How about running five times around and then walking once around the track, so a total of twelve laps in all?”

Su Yan believed that everything was fine, so she sent a message to the group.

Su Zhan replied quickly and said, “I got it.”

After hanging up the phone, Su Yan genuinely said, “I hope that they can get along well and be friends after spending this time together.”

Bai Xingfan was not very positive about that. “It would be nice if they could avoid fighting.”

Su Yan looked closely at him and said, “You are not gentle at all.”

Bai Xingfan gripped the steering wheel and calmly stated, “They are both males, with tough skin and strong bodies, so there’s no need to be too delicate.”

Su Yan was left speechless. She had already seen her future son’s tragic fate from what Bai Xingfan said. Then, she couldn’t help but ask, “If Xinglan was a girl, would you be gentle?”

Bai Xingfan: “Of course.”

Su Yan: “…”
