Chapter 39.2 – Two Loves
Su Yan felt struck by lightning. She remembered what she had promised her parents, and quickly gathered words to describe the situation to her boyfriend.
Bai Xingfan was surprised and asked, “What?”
Su Yan tried hard to explain it. “It’s too late; they’re afraid someone will take me away.”
Bai Xingfan: “?”
The phone was vibrating, but Su Yan didn’t pick up the call right away. After she sat in the co-pilot’s seat, she fixed her clothes and hair before picking up the phone.
It was a video call from her mother.
However, both her mother and father were also visible on the screen.
“Hi, Mom” Su Yan felt guilty and panicked, but still called her parents as normal and asked, “What’s wrong?”
Liu Xiang looked worried and asked, “What time is it? Why didn’t you call home?”
Su Yan said, “Forgot.”
Her father asked, “When will you come back?”
Su Yan couldn’t do anything. “The movie doesn’t finish until 10:30.”
Liu Xiang asked again, “Where’s the movie? Why didn’t I see it?”
Su Yan had to turn the camera around and then aim the phone at the big screen outside. She asked, “Did you see it?”
Su Jianan looked unhappy and asked, “What are you watching? It was killing.”
Su Yan understood that her father was purposely making mistakes. She sighed, saying, “We can’t choose what to watch tonight; it’s a movie in the cinema.”
Her dad was unsure and asked, “Where are you at?”
Su Yan said, “I am in the car.”
Her father asked again, “Are you alone?”
Su Yan quickly figured out that her father wanted to see Bai Xingfan, so she turned the camera towards the driver’s seat and said, “He’s with me.”
Bai Xingfan was very calm and spoke politely to the camera. “Hello, uncle.”
Su Jianan replied calmly, “Ok, that’s fine.” Then he said, “Su Yan, don’t stay out too late playing; come home right after the movie, got it?”
He purposely said Su Yan’s name because he didn’t want to talk to someone who was dating his daughter.
“I understand,” Su Yan said as she adjusted the camera and promised, “I’ll be back home before eleven o’clock.”
Su Jianan: “Your mom and I are at home waiting for you.”
Su Yan: “Sure. Do you need anything else? I will end the call. Goodbye.” Then she ended the call, took a deep breath, and said sorry to Bai Xingfan: “My parents are not mad at you; they just worry about me.”
“I get it,” Bai Xingfan said. “If I had a daughter, I would be concerned too.”
Su Yan: “Do you also tell her to video call you every hour?”
“No,” Bai Xingfan said without changing his expression. “I will make sure she has some bodyguards with her.”
‘My God! You are more terrible than my father.’ She couldn’t stop herself from rolling her eyes as she said, “People are just going on a date.”
Bai Xingfan: “It’s all the same.”
Su Yan: “Is i it like that there?’
She was very quiet and didn’t know what to do, so she decided to stop talking about it. She sat back in her chair and looked at the big screen in front of her. Finally, she said, “I don’t know what to do.”
Bai Xingfan asked, “Are you still watching?”
Su Yan: “Watch, why not?”
Bai Xingfan patted his leg. “Come here.”
Su Yan: “???”
Bai Xingfan: “Don’t want to?”
Su Yan felt shy. “Why do we have to be so close together?”
Su Yan didn’t have anything to say, so she crawled over and sat on his lap without any fuss. Bai Xingfan held her head and pressed it against his shoulder.
He has wide shoulders and strong chest muscles. Even though he was wearing a shirt, she could still feel the firmness and tightness, which made her feel very reassured.
Su Yan leaned on his arms for a bit and then suddenly thought of something. She looked up at him and asked, “Are your legs numb?”
Bai Xingfan said, “No.”
Su Yan squinted her eyes a little, trying to do something wrong.
She thought the first thing she noticed was his strong jawline and then his greenish ear.
She quickly lifted her chin and bit his ear in one bite. She thought to herself, ‘I want to see what your earlobe looks like when it’s red.’
Her lips were really soft, and Bai Xingfan was surprised. His self-control suddenly disappeared, and he felt a strong desire.
Su Yan didn’t feel how tight and tense his body was. She softly licked his earlobe with her tongue and then let him go.
When she looked at his earrings again, they were very red and looked very attractive.
Su Yan felt very happy with her artwork called “President Bai’s ear beads.”
The voice suddenly stopped.
Even though she was wearing two layers of clothes, she could still feel his change.
