Bai Xingfan didn’t come home for several days.

Su Yan didn’t think she did the wrong thing because she didn’t want to be a nightingale in a cage.

She couldn’t read, write, or focus on anything, so she stayed in her room, watched TV in bed, and fell asleep late at night.

The next day, wake up early and turn off the TV that was left on all night, then do the same things as yesterday.

After a week of being alone, she couldn’t stand it anymore, so she decided to go shopping and experience the excitement of the world. But before she could call the driver, her chubby aunt knocked on the door and told her that the second young master had arrived.

Su Yan quickly went down the stairs.

Bai Xinglan was sitting on the couch in the living room, using his phone. He heard someone walking down, so he looked up and called out with a friendly smile, “Sister-in-law.”

Su Yan was surprised by this unexpected visit. “Why are you here?”

Bai Xinglan said, “I have nothing to do at home during the holiday, so I came to play with you.” He sighed and said sadly, “My mother thinks I’m annoying after being at home for a long time, so I came here.”

Su Yan thought it was funny and said, “Everyone’s the same.” Then she asked in a warm voice, “What do you want for lunch?”

Bai Xinglan got excited and asked, “Can I get some food?”

Su Yan smiled and said, “Yes, you can.”

Bai Xinglan said, “I want to eat the braised pork you made and sweet and sour pork ribs.”

Su Yan treated him like her own brother. “Sure, I’ll go make some food now.”

Bai Xinglan: “I really want to eat the food that you made in the old town again.”

Su Yan: “I can’t remember what food I made at that time.”

Bai Xinglan raised his hand and said, “I remember. I remember all of it.”

Su Yan’s laughter filled the hall. “Okay…okay… I’ll make them.”

Bai Xinglan cheered. “Thank you, sister-in-law.”

“No need to thank me.” Su Yan said. “You can entertain yourself while I cook.” Then she went to the kitchen.

Soon after that, the chubby aunt came into the living room and put a plate of fruit on the table in front of Bai Xinglan. “Eat some fruit.”

Bai Xinglan was playing a game, and he asked when his brother would come without looking at the aunt.

Hearing that, the chubby aunt looked a little embarrassed. ‘Mr. hasn’t been home for a few days. He also left that night without warning, and madam is also in a bad mood, so clearly they had an argument.’ However, as a servant, she should not discuss the master’s household chores, so she could only say, “I don’t know; ask madam.”

Bai Xinglan didn’t know what was happening and said, “I will call my brother later.”

The chubby aunt let out a small breath and then walked out of the living room.
