The word “pregnancy” surprised her a lot.

Su Yan was in a daze before she came to her senses. She looked at the chubby aunt and said, “Don’t say this to sir before I confirm it.” 

The chubby aunt smiled and agreed. “Sure, if you have a baby, sir will be very happy.”

Su Yan smiled, looking slightly confused.

Because of the unexpected news, Su Yan couldn’t eat a lot for dinner and only had half a bowl of soup.

After she came back to the room, she lay down on the bed in a confused state.

She was very worried that she would become pregnant, not only because she still had a grudge against him but also because she was worried that the contraceptive pills would affect the child.

It was impossible to not have any side effects.

Every mom wanted her child to be healthy and safe, so she was really scared this time. Therefore, she regretted taking pills.

Amid worry and fear, she fell asleep in the darkness. When she was half-asleep and half-awake, she felt someone hugging her and kissing her forehead, asking why she went to bed so early.

Being disturbed, she got mad and buried her face in his chest, grabbed his collar, and snorted angrily a few times.

Bai Xingfan quickly tapped her back like he was comforting a child.

She fell asleep again quickly, and her fingers loosened from his collar.

Bai Xingfan smiled and kissed her gently on the forehead as he said softly, “Have a nice dream.”

The next day, Su Yan woke up early because she went to bed early the night before.

At that time, Bai Xingfan had finished showering and was sitting up in bed, staring at her.

After getting married, this was the first time she saw her husband in the morning. 

In the past, he could only kiss her cheek carefully to say goodbye.

“Why did you get up so early?” He had just come out of the bathroom. He was wearing a soft grey-blue nightgown. The belt was loosely tied, and most of his strong chest was visible. 

When Su Yan saw him like this, the words “extrajudicial madman” appeared in her mind.

Bai Xingfan rubbed his wife’s head. “It seems like I can have breakfast with Mrs.Bai today.” He sighed lightly. “What a rare chance!”

‘Making fun of me again.’ Su Yan rolled her eyes and pushed his hand away, saying, “If you were honest at night, I could get up so early every day!”

Bai Xingfan: “It’s fine to sleep a little longer in the morning.”

Su Yan: “… ” 

She didn’t want to listen to him anymore, so she got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash.

When she exited the bathroom, Bai Xingfan had just left the cloakroom.

He had on a white shirt and grey pants; his tie was loose, and he was holding it in his hand. The man had the suit jacket on his left arm while he wore his watch and wedding ring.

Su Yan was sure that he would never forget to wear a wedding ring, even if he forgot to wear a watch.

She must also agree that Bai Xingfan was a very good husband. Although he was very anxious about his love, he had never hidden that he was married. Wherever he went, he would always have the ring on his ring finger to show he was married.

Su Yan unconsciously touched her right hand again and turned her ring.

Actually, she was not as good as him because she always forgot the ring by the sink after showering or washing her face.

Bai Xingfan approached her and asked why she seemed lost in thought recently.

Su Yan was surprised. “Ah? Is there any?”

Bai Xingfan found it funny to see her looking surprised and said, “Maybe I misunderstood it.”

Su Yan also said, “You must have read it wrong.” Then she turned, saying, “Aren’t you going to have your breakfast?”

Bai Xingfan: “I haven’t tied my tie.”

“What?” Su Yan turned again to look at Bai Xingfan and asked. ‘What are you trying to say?’

Bai Xingfan said, “I hope Mrs. Bai can help me.”

Su Yan said, “…”

She didn’t say anything for a short time, then she muttered, “I don’t know how to…”

Bai Xingfan’s expression stayed the same as he said, “I can show you how to do it.”

Su Yan made a face and asked, “Why can’t you do it yourself?”

Bai Xingfan said, “I don’t want to.”

Su Yan: “…”

Bai Xingfan stretched out his hand, and the high-quality dark grey tie hung softly on the palm of her hand. He looked at her face with a smirk. 

Su Yan followed his instructions and helped him put on his tie, making sure it looked just right.

“Where’s your tie clip?” He always dressed very carefully and neatly, and Su Yan knew it very well.

Bai Xingfan let go of his other hand, and a thin platinum tie clip rested in his palm.

Su Yan picked up the tie clip, pinned the clip between the third and fourth buttons of the shirt as she remembered, and finally took a look at her masterpiece as a whole. She was quite satisfied and said, “Okay!”

Bai Xingfan looked at her with admiration. “Mrs. Bai is really ingenious.”

Su Yan rolled her eyes and muttered, “Stop flattering!”

Bai Xingfan raised his brows and said, “I can’t tell the truth.”

Su Yan was annoyed. “Just a few words of sarcasm at me. Then, can you go to dinner now?”

“Go together.”

“I don’t want to eat; I have no appetite.” After saying this, Su Yan suddenly thought of something; her heart tightened, her breathing also suffocated for a moment, and anxiety crossed her expression.

“What’s wrong?” Bai Xingfan noticed her strangeness.

Su Yan hesitated but finally asked, “Do you work overtime at night?”

Bai Xingfan: “No, I’m not busy today; I can come back early.”

“Oh.” Su Yan pursed her lips. “I may have something to tell you.”

Bai Xingfan: “Maybe?”

Su Yan didn’t want to say so much because she was unsure of the result. “The specific situation needs to be kept secret for the time being.”
