Chapter 65.3 – Help

Su Yan walked to the kitchen to get ready to cook. But once she was in the kitchen, she realised that there were no ingredients. Before purchasing the things, she started checking the gas valve.

“Do you need my help?” Bai Xingfan’s voice came from behind her.

Su Yan turned her head and looked at him. “What can you do?” she asked after a few seconds of silence.

She was not looking down on him, but she knew this young master had never cooked before and couldn’t even tell the difference between vinegar and soy sauce.

It would only lead to further problems if she asked him to assist in the kitchen.

Bai Xingfan: “…”

“Although I can’t cook, I can sweep the floor, mop the floor, and wipe the table,” Bai Xingfan remarked after giving it some thought. As an additional demonstration of his ability, he added, “I participated in the general cleaning when I was in school.”

‘What an experience it was!’ Although Su Yan thought like that, she didn’t want to hurt Bai Xingfan. “Okay, let’s go to the supermarket and buy a broom later.”

Bai Xingfan: “Don’t you want a mop?”

After that, they went out together: first to a restaurant for lunch and then to the town’s store to buy cooking utensils and cleaning supplies.

When they returned, they worked together to tidy and clean the house. They were able to make the rental house appear to be a home after working on it all afternoon.

Master Su had only intended to have a few bites of dinner after a busy day, but she had to go to the kitchen and stew the two pounds of oxtail bones she had purchased at noon because she was thinking of the person at home who had just recovered from a serious illness.

After dinner, Master Su took a break. Master Bai took the initiative to take on the task of washing the dishes.

Su Yan didn’t refuse the man’s help. She let him do the task and went upstairs to wash herself.

After taking a shower, she comfortably got into bed.

She no longer needed to take medication to fall asleep, and she fell asleep after a few minutes.

After some time, she felt someone get onto the bed and held her into his embrace.

The moment the familiar breath wrapped around her, she knew who it was.

“Have you taken a shower?” she muttered sleepily while gently pushing away the man.

However, before she could exhale in relief, he asked, “Want to do it?”

“…” Su Yan woke up instantly. She opened her eyes immediately and stared at him without question. “I don’t want to!”

Despite his helplessness, Bai Xingfan did not coerce her, saying, “If you don’t want to, forget it.” His voice was low and a little harsh, and his eyelids were drooping slightly.

Su Yan had the sudden feeling that the man was somewhat pathetic, like a young wolf cub that had not gotten any candy. With a hint of sympathy, she clarified, “You just got out of the hospital, and the doctor didn’t allow strenuous exercise.”

Bai Xingfan said seriously, “We can be less violent.”

Su Yan: “…”

“Or, baby can take the lead.” Bai Xingfan said quietly while gently pinching her earlobe.

Su Yan: ‘Oops!’

She kept saying to herself, “There is a knife hanging over my head!” as she sensed his temptation.

Softly, Bai Xingfan asked, “Don’t you want to?”

After calming down, Su Yan remarked, “No means no!”

Bai Xingfan: “…”

Su Yan added.”Not within half a month.”

Bai Xingfan frowned instantly and asked disbelievingly, “Half a month?”

“Yes… I don’t want something to happen to you. What if really…”Su Yan pursed her lips and said with a red face.

Bai Xingfan finally understood his woman’s concerns and sighed. “Okay, I’ll listen to you.”

Although Su Yan was relieved, she no longer felt drowsy. It was also at this moment that she realised that the man was only wearing a bathrobe without anything underneath.

The broad and firm chest was clearly visible before her eyes, and the temptation was extremely great.

In order to prevent herself from losing control, she closed her eyes but still angrily cursed. “You naked hooligan!”

Bai Xingfan smiled helplessly while muttering, “Do I need to wear clothes when sleeping with my wife?”

Su Yan closed her eyes tightly and said angrily, “Who is your wife? We are divorced now. Oh, it’s illegal now.”

Otherwise she won’t be able to sleep tonight.

“I just want to take a look,” Su Yan said after pushing the man’s hand away. Then she forcefully pulled the man’s bathrobe down.

There were two hideous wounds on his left ribs. Although they had now completely healed, the woman was shocked seeing the wounds on the man’s body.

Su Yan lifted her hand and gave the two scars a gentle pat. His skin was uneven, and she could feel it with her fingertips.

“It must hurt so much.” Su Yan choked a cry.

“It doesn’t hurt.” Bai Xingfan gently grasped Su Yan’s wrist. “It doesn’t hurt at all.”

“Only a fool would believe that.” Su Yan sniffed and raised her hand to wipe away her tears. “I’m not stupid.”

Unable to contain his laughter, Bai Xingfan said, “Well, the cub is the smartest.”

“Stop making fun of me,” Su Yan replied, glancing at him.

“How dare I?” Bai Xingfan asked, looking innocent.

Su Yan stopped talking and lowered her head without saying a word.

After a while, she suddenly raised her head and pouted her little mouth at him. “Kiss!”

Bai Xingfan’s eyes darkened, his Adam’s apple slid up and down, and he asked in a hoarse voice, “Are you sure?”

Su Yan frowned in dissatisfaction. “What’s wrong with a kiss? I haven’t kissed you for a long time…”

The strong possessive desire surged into his heart again, completely arousing the most primitive desire in his blood.

Bai Xingfan completely lost control and completely forgot what he had promised her before. He raised his hand to hold her chin and kissed her hard on the lips.
