You hidden in my heart - Chapter 15.4
Chapter 15.4
Zhao Cichu was Zhao Hailan’s only daughter.
Li Xining disliked Zhao Cichu and her mother very much.
When they were little, Zhao Cichu would beat her whenever they met, and she also liked to snatch her toys. But as soon as she fought back, Zhao Cichu would cry and run to complain to her mother. The most annoying thing was that Zhao Cichu’s mother didn’t ask what had happened and eventually took Zhao Cichu’s side.
Right or wrong, she protected Zhao Cichu’s shortcomings very well. Mrs. Zhao always said first, “It’s okay, it’s just a kid playing around.” But after saying this, she would definitely add, “Xining is not the same. You are big, and you have to let your sister play.”
This simply stated that she was deliberately bullying Zhao Cichu, and there was no such thing as “taking care of the younger sister”, as if Zhao Cichu had been wronged, but it was clearly Zhao Cichu who made the first move every time.
Later, when the two of them grew up, Zhao Cichu’s mother insisted on letting her daughter go to a private aristocratic school, but Zhao Hailan disagreed because the students in aristocratic schools were basically the rich second generation and would go abroad directly after graduating from high school.
If they were not under the pressure of the college entrance examination, they would not have the motivation to work hard, and they would not be able to study well. Every day they would eat, drink, and have fun with a circle of rich second-generation people. Moreover, the school supervision was not strict. Anyway, there was no pressure to enter a higher school, which was not conducive to the development of children.
Zhao Cichu’s mother had a strong desire for her daughter to be admitted to an esteemed school. She believed that not going to a fancy school would bring shame to her daughter’s high social standing. To make Zhao Hailan agree, this woman told her daughter to cause problems in front of her father. She said that she felt like her father didn’t care about her, didn’t want to spend money on her, and didn’t want her to be a part of the upper class.
Zhao Cichu’s brain was not working well. She believed everything her mother said, so she went to her father’s place to cry, make trouble, and hang herself. Zhao Hailan finally had no choice but to agree to send her to an aristocratic school.
Li Xining heard these things from her mother when she was in junior high school.
Li Zhang left early, and Yu Wenyin took on the roles of both a father and a mother. She was usually busy, but she still worried a lot about her children’s education. She had thought about all the things that Zhao Hailan had thought about, so she didn’t allow Li Xining to attend a fancy school. Allowed her to participate in the standard college admissions process. Even if she wanted to travel to another country in the future, she could wait until she started attending university.
Different choices made by parents led to their children having different life principles. As a result, Li Xining and Zhao Cichu’s paths in life went in different directions.
Zhao Cichu was only a few months older than her, but she dressed as if she were ten years older than Li Xining. She usually wore heavy makeup, permed wavy hair, and high heels. Anyway, she dressed like a mature person. Lv and Gucci have become daily essentials, and even skin care products must be of SK2 level.
Li Xining wore school uniforms and ponytails every day, and she usually dressed very studently at home. Therefore, whenever Zhao Cichu saw Li Xining, she would say that she was vulgar, and then she would comment on her from beginning to end.
It turned out that when Zhao Cichu’s mother was still alive, Li Xining would still retort a few words, but since her mother died, she stopped retorting, not because of taking care of Zhao Cichu, who lost his mother at a young age, but because Zhao Cichu lost her mother at a young age.
Li Xining once only replied to Zhao Cichu’s mocking words, “Are you studying? Have you ever used a school bag before calling my school bag rubbish?”
But who would have thought that Zhao Cichu would cry right away and then run to complain in front of her elders? “Li Xining said that I have no mother, and no one bought me a school bag.”
At that time, it was Zhao Hailan’s dad’s birthday, and both Li Xining and Zhao Cichu were only fifteen years old. Mr. Zhao looked sad when he heard his granddaughter crying. It was clear that he only paid attention to his granddaughter and didn’t want to listen to people who were not part of their family.
Yu Wenyin understood that her daughter would never speak in such an ignorant manner. It was clear that Zhao Cichu was once again mixing up what was right and wrong. But today was Mr. Zhao’s birthday; what could she do in front of the Zhao family?
“Do you want your daughter to be known as a bully to a motherless child?” Mr. Zhao asked.
Hearing that, Yu Wenyin was really angry but had to hold it in and slap Li Xining in front of everyone.
This slap appeared to be very hard, but it was actually very gentle. However, Li Xining still cried and felt upset.
That was the first time she ever got beaten, and it happened in front of a lot of people. She was treated very unfairly. She had never been treated so unfairly since she was a little girl. She continued to cry and told her mom, “I didn’t say anything.”
Of course, Yu Wenyin knew that she didn’t say anything, and she felt very distressed, but she had no choice but to continue to reprimand her daughter “righteously” and force her to apologise to Zhao Cichu.
Li Xining just doesn’t apologise because she did nothing wrong.
Later, Zhao Hailan tried to make things better, but Yu Wenyin didn’t accept his help and stopped talking to their family to protect her daughter from being bullied again.
After that hard hit, Li Xining chose not to speak to her mother for a few days. Even though her mom told her why she got slapped and said sorry, she was still a kid and stayed mad.
However, she was now older and could comprehend why her mother made that decision in the past. But Li Xining was still upset with Zhao Cichu. She would never forget this strong dislike, which was why she was talking about Zhao Cichu and her mother at the moment. She looked really disgusted and said, “No wonder my dad thinks badly of the eldest lady. It is found out that the person is Zhao Cichu’s mother.”
Yu Wenyin shook her head. “No, the eldest lady’s not Zhao Cichu’s mother. Zhao Hailan did not marry the eldest at the end.”
Have a nice day!
