Chapter 25.3

The vacation was three days long, but he had to make up for missed work in six different subjects. Chinese and English could be done later. The important subjects were math, science, and biology. Therefore, she planned to do math today.

Li Xining got all her stuff ready and was going to do the lessons, but then she noticed that Student Lu wasn’t there yet.

“What are you doing just standing there? Come here quickly,” Li Xining said to Lu Yuling, looking angry. “There are lots of things we need to do to make things right.”

“Oh,” Lu Yuling said, feeling nervous and licking his dry lips. He walked stiffly to the desk and sat upright, putting his hands on his knees.

Li Xining gave Lu Yuling their class schedule and then went to get the tablet to download some questions from the internet.

Lu Yuling was always unfocused, and while he read the schedule, he also paid attention to Li Xining.

But as soon as Li Xining switched on the tablet, Lu Yuling got very angry.

 ‘What? The screensaver, is that d*mn Shen Siqi?’

Princess Lu quickly became upset, put his plan on the desk, looked coldly at the tablet screen in Li Xining’s hand, and said directly, “I don’t like this screensaver; please change it. It’s affecting my mood for studying.”

‘Why do you have such high standards when you are just starting to learn?’ Li Xining was mad and felt like she couldn’t do anything. “I told you to look at the questions, not the screensaver.”

Lu Yuling was very proud and full of himself. “I don’t care; you have to change it, or I will get mad, and it’s hard to make me feel better.”

Li Xining was very angry. She wanted to say that someone was troublesome, but then she remembered how Princess Lu’s arrogant temper made her think to ignore it.

‘This jealous and hypocritical person!’

Li Xining took a deep breath and agreed with Her Royal Highness, saying, “Alright, I will change. Are you happy now?”

Princess Lu was happy with the result, but he was still not fully satisfied. “You can’t set him as your screensaver in the future.

Li Xining: “What is the reason?”

Lu Yuling said that because she was a princess, she made the final decision.

Li Xining: “…” She wanted to scold him badly, but instead of doing that, she pinched his arm hard.

“Ouch,” Lu Yuling cried in pain, but he didn’t want to scream, fearing it would be heard by others, so he covered her arm and whispered, “Please be gentle. It hurts! You really don’t know how to cherish beauty!”

Such a terrible line.

Li Xining was mad and said, “Why are you bothering me so much?”

Lu Yuling: “I don’t like it. I just asked you to change the image on the screen. That’s it.”

“So fake” Li Xining looked at him with disapproval and began to change the background image on the computer screen. But when she looked at the photo album, she saw that she had kept a lot of pictures of Shen Siqi from the night before. It was too late to hide them. Princess Lu had already seen them.

Li Xining’s heart was pounding and felt like it was going to burst.

She looked at Lu Yuling but was surprised when Princess Lu didn’t get mad and acted calm like he didn’t see the photo album.

Li Xining was happy and quickly flipped through the pages of the photo album. Right now, Lu Yuling suddenly spoke in a mean and quiet way: “I think you look really good today. You look really pretty.”

He sounded serious and unusual. Li Xining’s hand got cold, her face turned red, and even her ears turned red. This was the first time that Lu Yuling told her she was beautiful.

She was a little bit happy inside but kept it a secret. Even though she tried to hide it, she couldn’t stop herself from smiling.

When she saw Shen Siqi’s pictures in the album, she felt a little ashamed of herself. ‘Why did I fill the album with Shen Siqi’s photos? I’m acting like a silly girl!’

Thinking about that, Li Xining deleted all the pictures of Shen Siqi from the album in front of Lu Yuling as a way to thank her for the compliment she gave him earlier.

Lu Yuling didn’t show any emotion on his face, but he felt proud inside. He thought he was better than others. ‘Oh, you are a demon; I can’t cure you?’
