The car drove away from Fuxiang Mountain, and Mr. Li said to his wife, “This old couple is really awful. They used to treat their daughter this way, and they still do that to their grandson.”

Today, they arrived in their car with their driver, so they were able to talk without any worries.

Mrs. Li sighed and replied with a hit of sadness in her voice, “The old couple was just too stubborn, so they decided that it was Yuling who had harmed Rongyue, but after all, he is also their biological grandson. Poor boy… Yuling is not stupid; can he not see it?”

“Of course, he’s able to see it, or else why wouldn’t he go back home to live?” Mr. Li said, “The Lu family doesn’t seem like they will be able to protect Yuling well in the future.”

Old Mrs Li continued. “Rongxing is good to him, but after all, he is an uncle, and he has a biological son. No matter how good he is, he is still separated by a layer.” 

The car suddenly became quiet, and the old couple thought of the Zhao family in unison, but they really didn’t want the unreasonable old couple and Zhao Hailan to know about the boy.

In the end, it was Mrs. Li who broke the silence. She seemed frustrated and helpless. “Although Lao Zhao and his wife are not bad, they are very protective of their shortcomings, and they still want a grandson so much. If they know that Yuling is their grandson, they will definitely not lose him. And Zhao Hailan is so capable and well-connected now; how can he not help his son in the future?”

What his wife said was reasonable, but Mr. Li couldn’t swallow it. After pondering for a moment, he replied, “We can’t guess their reaction. Unless we are absolutely sure that they will be good to Yuling, it’s better not to say anything so as not to cause trouble to that boy.”

Mr. Li also snorted. “How can I go up the pole to find him? Go and deliver his eldest grandson to him. I have to let him come to me!”

Mr. Li said confidently, “Of course, I have an idea.”
