Chapter 33.3

When they arrived at the intersection next to their school, Li Xining squeezed the brakes and stopped the bicycle.

Lu Yuling understood why she stopped the bicycle, so he stopped his bicycle next to hers and said, “You go first. I’ll come after a while. Hurry; otherwise, you will get late.”

Li Xining knew that after they entered the school, they would not be able to have any interaction due to the incident. She suddenly became irritated. “I’m so annoyed. Who posted that?”

Lu Yuling was also suppressing his anger. If he found out who did it, he would beat that person so badly that his mother wouldn’t even recognise him. The most frustrating thing was that he couldn’t figure out who it was. The account was a new one, and he couldn’t find anything.

Lu Yuling didn’t want to make Li Xining more upset, so he 

gently comforted her. “Now that the post has been taken down, don’t think about it anymore. No one will scold you at school, and if anyone tries to hurt you, just tell me, and I will handle it.”

Li Xining asked, “How do you know no one will yell at me?”

Lu Yuling said it with a smile. “You are very strong; I wouldn’t dare challenge you.”

Li Xining didn’t speak, but she felt happy inside. She knew that people were not scolding her because they were afraid of Lu Yuling, but because they were afraid of her.

Now everyone knew that he was her protector. 

Therefore, the sneaky person who posted the message would not get a good ending.

After looking at him one more time, she said, “You can come when you see me riding to the school gate. Please make sure you’re not late.”

Lu Yuling said, “I understand; let’s go.”

Li Xining then left. As she was about to enter the school gate, she looked back and saw that Lu Yuling had already started riding from the intersection towards the school gate.

Biking wasn’t allowed in school, so she got off the bicycle at the entrance and then pushed it to the parking lot.

It was almost 6:30 in the morning, and there weren’t a lot of students in the parking lot. 

Two students from each class were assigned to watch the parking lot area first thing every morning to ensure that students parked their bicycles properly.

Today, Ma Peng and his deskmate Li Muchen were on duty.

Although the students in the back row weren’t great at studying, they stuck together and were somewhat loyal to each other. 

Today, other than their duty, both Lu Yuling’s loyal friends were waiting in the parking lot for another thing. That was to inform Lu Yuling that their class teacher, Mr. Zhou, had arrived early and was waiting for him and Li Xining.

Li Xining parked the bicycle in Class 7’s parking area, and Ma Peng urgently asked, “Goddess, where is Brother Lu?”

Li Xining pressed the bracket with her foot and replied. “He’s on the way.”

Li Muchen asked in surprise, “You two still dare to come to school together?”

Li Xining retorted. “In what way? Didn’t I come first?”

Li Muchen: “You two are the only ones in the class who are not here. Lao Zhou is crazy today. Please be careful when you enter the class.”

After hearing that, Li Xining began to feel uneasy; it was likely Lao Zhou who had come so early today to arrest her and Lu Yuling. If he managed to get hold of the handle, Lu Yuling would be defeated.

Li Xining had second thoughts, so she grabbed Ma Peng by the sleeve and said, “Come back to class with me.” Then she addressed Li Muchen, saying, “You come together when Lu Yuling comes. If Lao Zhou asks why Lu Yuling is late, you say he did duty in the parking lot today, got it?”

Li Muchen did not expect that good students would also lie to their teachers. “Then what if he doesn’t believe it?” he asked hesitantly. 

Li Xining said firmly, “It’s his business to believe it or not; it’s not your concern. In a moment, you and Lu Yuling enter the class through the back door and ask him to put his bag in the class and enter the class through the front door.”

After that, she pulled Ma Peng away.

Li Muchen was dumbfounded. ‘Damn, that’s awesome!’

Lu Yuling pushed his bicycle to the parking lot roughly 30- seconds later. He also slowed down his speed purposefully in an attempt to put some distance between himself and Li Xining.

Initially, Li Muchen called out to Lu Yuling as “Brother Lu” and waved his hand. 

When Lu Yuling saw that, he picked up his pace. 

Li Muchen informed him of what the class leader had just told him. “The class leader is so brave and careful!” he exclaimed, visibly relieved.

Lu Yuling remarked, “You just found out?” with a proud and haughty tone as he slightly lifted his eyebrows.

Li Muchen nodded and then replied, half to comfort and half to seriousness. “Brother, it’s not shameful. You should be afraid of her.”

Lu Yuling: “Who the hell told you that I’m afraid of her? How can I be afraid of a little girl like her?”

Li Muchen groaned and cast a pitying glance at him. “Brother, stop making excuses; the whole grade knows that you are afraid of Goddess Xining.” Li Muchen patted Lu Yuling’s shoulder before saying, “It’s not at all humiliating. Goddess Xining is too strong; it’s not that you’re a coward.”

Lu Yuling: “…”
