‘Why did I trust Chen Lin? Why don’t I trust Lu Yuling?’ Li Xining was feeling really sorry about something.

She took a few deep breaths and signed a bunch of blank leave notes. Then she moved back to her own seat. She packed her things quickly and said to Xu Dongruo, “I’m going to look for Lu Yuling. If Lao Zhou shows up all of a sudden, just tell him I’m sick and left early.”

Xu Dongruo: “Will he trust it? What if he calls your mother?”

Li Xining said, “Then allow him to do it. I don’t believe he will report me to the higher authorities.”

‘If you learn bad things, you learned them from Lu Yuling.’ Xu Dongruo asked, “Do you know where to find him?”

Chen Lin: “You’re in charge of the group and need to stay for self-study tonight.”

Li Xining said, “Then you be the class leader.” Then she walked away, but she couldn’t help turning back to tell Chen Lin and said, “Chen Lin, I hate liars, especially. One Lu Yuling is better than ten of you.”

Chen Chen Lin stood still.

Li Xining was very, very happy after telling that. 

The bell at school rang, and it became quiet again. The night sky was dark, and the stars were bright.

Li Xining walked quickly. She wanted to go into the shade to find her friend Lu Yuling.
