You hidden in my heart - Chapter 48.2

Chapter 48.2
After giving Zhao Hailan another thank you, Li Xining opened the door and exited the vehicle. Only then did she realise that Lu Yuling was wearing a white down jacket today as well, and that it was a couple’s style, very similar to the one she was wearing.
When Lu Yuling saw Li Xining, he smiled and went straight to her before turning to face the vehicle that had driven her there.
Instead of turning around and driving back, Zhao Hailan continued to stare at Lu Yuling.
The thin black wipers were constantly waving, wiping the front windows brightly.
Lu Yuling saw the man in the car clearly. He had a good memory and recognised him as Zhao Hailan at a glance. When he walked in front of Li Xining, he asked curiously, “Why did he send you here?”
Li Xining simply explained. “He went to pay New Year’s greetings to my grandfather and then sent me here.”
Lu Yuling didn’t doubt it and took Li Xining’s gloved right hand. “Let’s go and enjoy the lanterns.”
Zhao Hailan hadn’t left yet, so Li Xining felt a little embarrassed and tried to pull her hand out, but failed because the boy held it too tightly. She glared at Lu Yuling with a red face and muttered, “Let go!”
“Aren’t we reconciled?” Lu Yuling asked, looking blankly at Li Xining.
Li Xining whispered, “Someone is watching.”
Knowing that she was referring to Zhao Hailan, Lu Yuling casually said, “Let him watch.” He then pulled Li Xining aside after saying that.
Li Xining could only follow him since she was unable to escape. After a while, she turned her head back quietly and found that Zhao Hailan had already gone. She breathed a sigh of relief and then said in a serious and earnest tone, “Lu Yuling, I want to ask you something. You must tell me the truth; otherwise, we will break up.”
“Alright, go ahead,” Lu Yuling said after pondering for a few seconds.
Li Xining came to a halt and turned to face Lu Yuling. She gave him a serious look and said, “Look into my eyes.”
‘Why does it resemble reprimanding a child?’ Lu Yuling wanted to chuckle, but he refrained from doing so to prevent getting scolded.
“Let me ask you. Do you know my dad?” Li Xining asked, gazing at Lu Yuling’s eyes.
Lu Yuling was taken by surprise, and he was stunned. It truly caught him off guard when she suddenly asked about this. His eyes began to wander here and there. “Ah? Ah?”
Seeing this, Li Xining immediately knew that the boy had met her father before. “Don’t talk to me, ah, ah, ah!” she said seriously.
After struggling with his thoughts, the boy finally gave up. He admitted openly. “I know him. We had a very good relationship.”
“Annoying guy!” Li Xining angrily said as she gazed at him before abruptly reaching up and slapping him in the chest.
Her possessiveness was suddenly exploding, and everyone experiences jealousy and possessiveness. The young girl discovered that her father actually had another little darling, despite her long-held belief that she was the only child in his heart.
That little baby was Lu Yuling.
So she wanted to beat him because he stole her dad.
Since there was a thick layer of clothing between them, the slap she gave the boy’s chest wasn’t particularly heavy; it wasn’t harmful. But Lu Yuling held his chest hard while feigning severe injuries and said the agonised words, “Ah… You hit me? You hit me once more.”
Rolling her eyes at him, Li Xining exclaimed, “Just act for me!”
“Really,” Lu Yuling replied, putting aside the agonised expression, “don’t constantly beat me, Li Xining. They all believe you are using domestic abuse against me.”
Li Xining: “You were abused by me? Has a hair on your head ever been touched by me?”
“No, you didn’t touch my hair; you just twisted me, pinched me, hit me, and punched me,” Lu Yuling responded gravely.
“You deserve to be beaten!” laughed Lin Xining, who was so furious.
“All right. I’m to blame. You did a good job beating me.” Lu Yuling said softly, “Seriously, I really know your dad,” as he stopped making jokes with her and embraced her. “Our relationship was very good. Do you know how good it is?”
“To what extent?” Li Xining inquired warily, lifting her gaze to meet his.
Lu Yuling softly but confidently said, “Your father promised me that he would marry you to me as my wife, so Li Xining, you can’t run away in this life; you will definitely be mine.”
He smiled, bent forward slightly, and pressed his lips near her ear. The hot air flowed straight over her ears, and there was a tinge of passion in his tone when he spoke.
Suddenly, her entire face flushed.
Her heart skipped a beat, as if her heartstrings were suddenly plucked without warning.
Have a nice day!
