You hidden in my heart - Chapter 51.1

Chapter 51.1
The graduation ceremony was held in the school gymnasium from 9:00 a.m.
Because the students had sat for the college entrance exam less than a few days before, they didn’t have any time for rehearsals. Therefore, the person in charge of the programme told students who were supported to participate by arriving before 6:30 a.m. for a rehearsal.
Between 6:30 and 7:00 was makeup time.
There were five hosts, and they could either wear the attire provided by the school or bring their own.
When Li Xining arrived at the backstage dressing room at 6:10 a.m. with her own dress, the other hosts were still not there.
But the makeup teacher had already arrived. When the female teacher saw Li Xining, she asked, “Is that a dress in your box?”
“Yes.” Li Xining put the dress box in her arms on the table, opened the lid, and asked politely, “Teacher, where can I go to change clothes?”
“There.” The female teacher pointed at the changing room.
Li Xining gently took out her dress and high heels from the box and went to the dressing room. She rushed fast, changing into her dress and high heels in less than five minutes.
The female teacher had been glancing at her phone. When she heard the locker room curtain being drawn, she automatically turned her head to look. She was amazed by the girl in the dress. So she couldn’t help but grin and compliment her, “Very beautiful! Little fairy.”
Li Xining was very happy to receive the compliment, which showed that her new look was very successful. “Thank you, teacher.”
Then the teacher started to put on Li Xining’s makeup.
Everyone admired beauty, and the female was no exception. Faced with such a lovely girl, she applied makeup more gently, as if she were caring for a fragile work of art.
While they were applying makeup, other students began to arrive backstage one by one.
However, they were all girls.
Because rehearsal time was limited, the school allowed only female students to wear makeup, leaving male pupils to take care of themselves.
However each female student was not given much time to put on makeup, only five or six minutes on average, so most of them simply put on their own makeup at home.
There were also two male hosts waiting for them at the front desk.
As the hosts were supposed to go first, the female teacher applied makeup on the three female hosts first.
After they were ready, the three of them went to the stage together. They thought they could rehearse directly after arriving, but someone else had arrived there first and occupied the stage.
The gymnasium of the No. 1 Middle School in the city was very large, so the stage was also built in a grand manner.
The one who was now dominating on the stage was the little ballet princess Han Qiaowei.
Han Qiaowei didn’t have any faith in the makeup skills of the school teacher, so she did her own makeup at home. She had years of experience putting on makeup because she had been engaged in dancing for years; her stage makeup looked quite realistic.
Today her item was a solo—the Swan Lake ballet.
To accommodate her rehearsal, the lighting technician dimmed the stage lights a lot, leaving only a bright white light.
With the background music, Han Qiaowei, dressed in a snow-white ballet costume, performed smoothly on the large stage.
The white light just followed her graceful body.
Under the light, she jumped up and moved her body as a swan by along with the music.
Most of the actors waiting for rehearsal were stunned.
Li Xining didn’t glance at Han Qiaowei but instead looked for Lu Yuling in the crowd; if she found out that this man was also staring at Han Qiaowei, she wouldn’t let him go!
‘He can gaze at anyone but Han Qiaowei!’
However, Li Xining searched for a long time but didn’t see Lu Yuling.
Han Qiaowei’s solo dance lasted approximately five minutes. When the music stopped, the five hosts were ready to go on stage. However, Han Qiaowei did not exit the stage. Instead, she stood straight on stage and told the sound engineer, “Let’s do it again.”
She acted so confidently as if this stage had been designed by her family.
Have a nice day!
