Li Xining confirmed that Lu Yuling was the person who had given her candy all these years. The sound was like thunder before a storm.

The hearts of everyone in the classroom trembled twice following the sound of “Thunder”.

Li Xining held her breath for a moment, and her whole body became cold as if it were she who handed in the blank paper.

After a few seconds, she gathered her review materials and a pen with trembling hands, lowered her head, and hurried out of the classroom, walking eagerly like a helpless fish eager to return to the sea.

After she left the classroom, Li Xining closed the red iron door and then took a deep breath. As the fresh morning air filled her lungs, her mind became clearer.

‘This is the first time in my life that I am so ashamed. That b*stard Lu Yuling!’

After Li Xining went out, no one dared to speak.

Mr. Li scanned the whole class again, finally fixed his eyes on the corner of the back door, and said mockingly, “Someone has gone out for you, so just sit there honestly and continue to hand in blank papers next time.”

Lu Yuling had been in a dazed state until this moment. When he heard Mr.Li’s mocking words, he came to his senses, stood up, and walked out of the class.

Li Xining had already put the book on the railing of the corridor. After hearing the noise, she turned her head and glanced at the back door. There stood Lu Yuling, with guilt-filled eyes, looking at her.

Li Xining ignored him, didn’t even give him another look, quickly withdrew her gaze, and focused her attention on the exercise book, thinking in her heart, ‘If you don’t come back to study after lunch today, I will… I’ll catch you!’

Lu Yuling couldn’t guess what Li Xining was thinking, but the only thing he was sure of was that she was angry with him. At the same time, he was eager to know, why she stood for such an ignorant b*stard like him?
